MEMORY KEEPING MONDAY IS ALWAYS FUN

This week I am featuring the Weekend Adventures Scrapbooking Workshop Kit and the coordinating Scrapbooking frmo Scratch products.

This kit has everything needed (excluding adhesives) to make the three two-page layouts (167315 $65AU).

You can also create even more layouts using these supplimentary products, including the Weekend Adventure Designer Series Paper & Sticker Sheet (167314 $29.95AU).

The Weekend Adventure Photopolymer Stamp Set has a fantastic variety of images and greetings for memorykeeping and card making (167318 $35).

You can also add the coordinating Weekend Adventure Two-Tone card to continue your creative endeavours (167324 $21).

I followed the layout instructions to recreate the kit designs.

The three layouts do not have any stamping on them but that is something you can add if you want to.

I love the brickwork look on the top page and all the layered elements on both pages.

This page also has many overlapping layers.

Then I created my own single page design using the more of the products on my desk.

This simple layout includes stamping across the central Old Olive strip. I would love to have the boot print as a stamp.

Tomorrow I have a technique card, and some tips, to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

MEMORYKEEPING MONDAY IS NOW MY THING!

I’m back from my week away and looking forward to sharing some projects using the Birthday Fancy Kit ($44 166211).

The kit comes with everything you need to make these 12 individual cards.

My projects this week will use these kit items to make completely different projects.

I made a two page scrapbooking layout using some of the kit items but also added some other bits and pieces from my stash.

I started by adhering some strips of Cloud Cover and Lost Lagoon card on each of the pages.

The next step was to add a 6″x 4″ Basic White photo placecard onto a 1 1/2″x 4 1/2″ Cloud Cover matte.

The titles for each page were made by adding Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Lost Lagoon card and cutting the letters with the Playful Alphabet Dies.

The journalling panels were made using the notebook Just a Note dies. I used the coordinating stamp set to add the Lost Lagoon lines on the notebook die cut. The notebook pages were then adhered to another Cloud Cover panel.

I used the tab and paperclip dies to cut these shapes and add them to the notebook page.

Then I decorated both pages using the decorative elements from the kit.

I think these pages would be great for photos from a birthday gathering or a high tea. What photos would you add to these pages?

Tomorrow I have a card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbboking.

MONDAY IS FOR MEMORY KEEPING

In a little over two weeks MDH (my darling husband) and I will celebrate our 40th anniversary!

When I was planning this double page layout, I had in the back of my mind that I would dig out a load of photos from across the years to add to these pages.

This week I am featuring three Mix & Match Ephemera packs – Good Times, Time for Celebration and Greetings for All.

Good Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (165353)

Time for Celebration Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (165354)

Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack (164862)

I also decided to feature the new Party Banners Dies (165264) – my new favourite die collection.

For the first page of the layout I added three White Willow Banners to the 12″x 12″ Two-tone Granny Apple Green card. The banners were added using three strips of double-sided tape to create a pocket for journalling panels.

I added Adhesive Sheets to the back of the Granny Apple Green 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper. Then I used the Party Alphabet Dies (165263) to cut out the letters for the layout title.

I placed the ‘a great’ words on a strip of the same two-tone card and then created a torn upper and lower edge to frame the words.

A paper piercing tool was used to create the holes that were used to thread white baker’s twine to ‘hang’ the banner pieces.

The second page of the layout had the hanging banner continue with each banner holding a journalling panel.

The journalling panels were made from a piece of Willow White card. I used the Keeping Tabs Punch to cut a tab from some Granny Apple Green DSP. After securing the tab to the journalling panel, I added one of the black and white pears from the Goods Times Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

Both pages had two large pears adhered to finish the title – “We’re a Great Pear”.

I’m looking forward to rifling through our photos to find the six or seven that I will include on this layout.

Tomorrow I will start sharing the 25 cards I have made using the ephemera packs.

Until then, happy stamping.
