LOTS OF FUN THIS FUN FOLD CARD FRIDAY

Today I have a Buckle Fun Fold Card to share with you.

I started with a Basic White card base.

After securing the buckle strip I added some panels from one of the Cloud Cover spotted kit cards.

The Strawberry Slush doily element comes from the Birthday Fancy Kit.

I cut Cloud Cover and Basic White circles using the Stylish Shapes Dies. After adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to each of the layers I added a mini magnet to the back of the circles and adhered them to the buckle.

A second magnet was added between the card base and Cloud Cover layer to help ensure the buckle stays closed.

The cake elements were added to the card, as were some Strawberry Slush Flat Pearls.

The greeting was stamped using Strawberry Slush ink.

The card insert had a second greeting added as well as a cherry image.

It has been loads of fun creating these projects using the Birthday Fancy Kit.

I have a couple of bonus projects to share with you over the weekend.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

3D THURSDAY HAS ROLLED AROUND AGAIN!

For today’s projects I used some of the card bases from the kit.

I made two different sized gift boxes.

I made the larger gift box using two of the cardbases. The cards were scored and trimmed before being glued together to make the box.

The second gift box, perfect to pop a chocolate into, was made with just one card.

I used the Unbounded Love and Stylish Shapes Dies to cut the backgrounds for the heat embossed greetings.

The gold shapes and greetings were added to the top of boxes using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The weight of the cards is perfect for making sturdy gift boxes.

Tomorrow i have a fun fold card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

EACH WEDNESDAY POST WILL INCLUDE A WEEKLY UPDATE AS WELL AS A NEW PROJECT

So here is this week’s update!

Firstly, I have some sad news. The manufacturer of the Paper Snips Scissors (103579) is no longer making this product. Believe it or not, there are no paper snips available – they existing Australian stock is already gone.

Something amazing is in the works! After months of planning (and years of discussion!), Stampin’ Up! is rolling out a brand-new promotion for demonstrators and customers: the Product of the Month! Stay tuned for more information.

Here is today’s project.

I started with a Basic White card base.

One of the Petal Pink and white strip cards was cut in half and trimmed to coordinate with the card base.

Before attaching the striped panel to the card base I took a length of Petal Pink Braided Trim and pulled it apart. I took five strands and wrapped them around the panel, tied a knot and secured them with Tear and Tape.

After I added the striped panel to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I took the Petal Pink scalloped panel, from the kit, and attached it the card front.

I added several cake elements to the card and then used gold embossing powder to create the greeting.

The card insert and envelope had the pie elements added to them.

Tomorrow I have two 3D projects to share with you.
