MEMORY KEEPING MONDAY IS ALWAYS FUN

This week I am featuring the Weekend Adventures Scrapbooking Workshop Kit and the coordinating Scrapbooking frmo Scratch products.

This kit has everything needed (excluding adhesives) to make the three two-page layouts (167315 $65AU).

You can also create even more layouts using these supplimentary products, including the Weekend Adventure Designer Series Paper & Sticker Sheet (167314 $29.95AU).

The Weekend Adventure Photopolymer Stamp Set has a fantastic variety of images and greetings for memorykeeping and card making (167318 $35).

You can also add the coordinating Weekend Adventure Two-Tone card to continue your creative endeavours (167324 $21).

I followed the layout instructions to recreate the kit designs.

The three layouts do not have any stamping on them but that is something you can add if you want to.

I love the brickwork look on the top page and all the layered elements on both pages.

This page also has many overlapping layers.

Then I created my own single page design using the more of the products on my desk.

This simple layout includes stamping across the central Old Olive strip. I would love to have the boot print as a stamp.

Tomorrow I have a technique card, and some tips, to share with you.

TIME FOR A SUNDAY SPECIAL

This is another project that I made a few weeks ago.

It was the first one I created using the Extraordinary Flora Bundle.

I started by adhering a length of the washi tape onto a panel of Basic White card and then formed the card base to feature the floral panel.

I used some of the Nested Essentials Dies to cut the Darling Duckling and Pretty Peacock layers. These were positioned on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

My next step was add another length of the washi tape to white card stock before die cutting the flora shapes. I positioned these over the coordinating shapes using dimensionals.

The greeting was stamped and then die cut before positioning it with dimensionals.

I took a length of the Darling Duckling Faux Linen Ribbon, tied into a bow and added to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.

I added some Darling Duckling Flat Pearls for that little bit of extra decoration.

The card insert and back of the envelope were decorated with more of the washi tape die cuts.

TODAY IS A SATURDAY SPECIAL

Today I have two cards that a made a week or so ago for one of the GLobal Design Project challenges. The theme was flowers.

I used the Happy Hibiscus Bundle and Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder for both of them.

After preparing the card base and embossing the Basic White panel, I used the 1 7/8″ Circle Punch to cut out the space where I placed the greeting circle.

I embossed more white card to cut out two more circles, using the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch.

Then I used the Happy Hibiscus floral dies to cut all of these flowers.

I I secured the embossed circles to the corrugated panel and then attached all the flowers to it.

The dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends pen was used to splatter the card front and colour some of the Drusy Embellishments that I placed in some of the flowers.

The greeting was also stamped on inside the card and the back of the evelope.

The second card was created in a similar way to the first.

To create the flowers I applied multiple layers of the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape to a piece of Basic White card. Then I die cut the flowers.

I used the dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends pen to colour the Drusy Embellishments and leave flecks of colour across the corrugated panel.

Some Petal Pink strands from the Braided Trim were used to create the bow that was added to the card front.

I am so happy with how well these washi tape flowers turned out.

This is a weekend when I will be sharing another card tomorrow.
