This week I am featuring the Waterside Retreat Suite Collection.

Although most of my projects this week have been created as masculine in nature, today’s project is designed as a home decor piece.

When I get to Ikea and restock my shadow box frames, this project will be placed in a white frame and given to a daughter for her home.

After seeing the Designer Series Paper page with all the seagulls in flight, I knew what I wanted to create.

I used three of these pages – one for the background and the other two for lots and lots of fussy cut birds.

The fussy cut birds were layered onto the base page – some once and others twice, using mini dimensionals.

I love the way that the layered birds add both depth and movement to the page.

The great thing about fussy cutting is that you canwatch a streamed movie at the same time.

Once this page is popped inside a white shadow box frame and put on a wall this project will definitely ‘fly’.

Tomorrow I have a great masculine birthday card to share with you.
