POP UP FATHER’S DAY CARD

In Australia, Father’s Day is celebrated on the first Sunday in September. So with Father’s Day just a few short weeks away I wanted to create a card using the Waterside Retreat Suite Collection.

I used a Misty Moonlight card base and a panel of striped Misty Moonlight/white Designer Series Paper.

Then I added several fussy cut life jacket and oar elements from one of the other DSP papers.

I wanted to make a popup card, so I used the Pop Up Petals Dies for the card insert.

The pop up dies allowed me to add more fussy cut elements inside the card.

I added a few more fussy cut elements behind the pop ups to give the impression of a ‘trophy wall’.

The greeting was stamped in Misty Moonlight and cut using the Three Banner Punch.

There are many more projects yet to be made using the Waterside Retreat Suite Collection in the plan – so, stay tuned.
