FUN FOLD FRIDAY HAS ARRIVED

Each Friday I enjoy sharing a Fun Fold card.

Today I have a variation of a Trifold Easel Fun Fold card that was inspired by the ‘pop up’ large butterfly die from the Beautiful Butterflies Dies.

I started with a 12″x 12″ Basic White card that I cut to 5 3/4″ and then scored at 4″ and 8″.

The largest butterfly die in the collection (top right) is designed to cut an upper butterfly layer on a card that flips up leaving a ‘full’ card back.

For this card I cut the butterfly card front although I did not cut away the card around the butterfly.

I cut a piece of Balmy Blue card to add to the card front around the butterfly shape. I also cut a Balmy Blue bokeh butterfly to attach to the butterfly flap.

The front of the card is quite simple. I did colour some Iridescent Faceted Gems with the Dark Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends pen.

I cut a second bokeh butterfly and placed it inside the first inside layer. This layer folds out to be the bottom of the Easel card.

I cut a third butterfly and placed it in the same place on the ‘inside’ layer.

The third panel had a panel of Balmy Blue and Basic White card added so that someone could write their message to the recipient.

This insert had a splatted image stamped on it twice. The back of the envelope was also stamped with the splatter images.

Finally the greeting was stamped and die cut. After positioning the greeting, as the easel card anchor, I added some coloured Iridescent Faceted Gems.

I’m not quite sure what I will have for you next week but I’m sure that it will inspire you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

HELLO FUN FOLD FRIDAY

My Fun Fold card today is a SIDE STEP CARD and it has been quite a while since I last made one.

I am continuing with my Mother’s Day theme this week and have decided to feature the Celebratory Sips Suite Collection.

The Side Step card base was made using one of the new 2025-2027 In Colours, Timid Tiger.

I also used some of the Cloud Cover and Secret Sea cardstock.

After adding the card and DSP panels, I added Adhesive Sheet to some Timid Tiger card and cut ‘mum’ using the Mini Alphabet Dies.

I enjoyed fussy cutting all the colourful drinks and layering them across the side step card.

The ‘cheers’ greeting was stamped and cut using one of the banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

The card insert and back of the envelope were both decorated with a fussy cut drink.

This soon to be released collection of products is going to be so much fun to create with.

The final touch was to add some of the Crushed Curry Adhesive-backed Dots for Days.

Next week I will have more inspiration to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

Well, I hope that you are indeed WOWed by these two updates!

Today I have a card that I created for Mother’s Day and I am calling it a Double Fold Flat Box Card. I haven’t seen this style of card before so if you have and know its “correct” name, please let me know.

For this card, I have featured the Lovely Garden Suite Collection.

To create this Fun Fold card I cut a 12″x 5 3/4″ panel of Garden Green card and scored it at 2″, 4″ and 8″. On this back panel I added strips of the Garden Green and Basic White checked DSP.

I then took two pieces of Gard Green card, measuring 12″x 2 1/4″ and scored them at the same places. I added the same green checked DSP on the top scored card and pieces of the yellow floral DSP to the bottom scored card.

I filled the front space with a stamped, coloured and die cut flower from the featured stamp set.

I used the She’s the Greatest Stamp Set to stamp the greeting, in Crushed Curry. After trimming this strip, I added a strip of Crushed Curry card behind it and then added a panel of the green checked DSP.

The greeting was then positioned on this central front section using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using Basic White Baker’s Twine, I tied a triple bow and attached it to the flower using Mini Glue Dots.

To finish the front of the card, I added some Adhesive-backed Dots for Days Crushed Curry dots.

I added a Basic White panel to the back of the card as well as a strip of the yellow floral DSP. The same DSP was added to the back of the envelope as well.

I am so pleased with how this card turned out!

Tomorrow I have a 3D project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
