IT’S FRIDAY & TIME FOR SOME FEATURES AND A FUN FOLD CARD

The Trusty Tools Bundle has been so much fun to play with this week.

It’s always great to have a masculine stamp set and dies to have on hand.

The 16 images and greetings are photopolymer making it so easy to accurately stamp images where you want them.

There are 20 dies in the Trusty Tools Dies set.

I have made a version of a Z fold card today.

I used a Poppy Parade card base to add panels of this screwdriver paper.

Then I used my new brayer to add colour to a 9″ x 3″ strip of Basic White card. I used Smoky Slate and Basic Gray to colour this piece.

I scored the Basic White piece at 3″ and 6″. Then I adhered it to the folded card base, as shown.

I attached adhesive sheet to some Lost Lagoon cardstock and used the Mini Alphabet Dies to cut the letters needed for the ‘man cave’ card title.

Once again, I picked through the die and fussy cut tools to choose a range of them to attach to the card.

Tomorrow I hope to have a challenge project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

THURSDAY MEANS THAT IT’S TIME FOR A 3D PROJECT

I made a gift box that holds three small Crunchie chocolates. The wrapper, that chocolate comes in, matches Crushed Curry so well.

The box was made using Basic Black cardstock and measures 4″ x 2 1/4″ x 1″.

I die cut two peg boards for the front and back of the box.

I cut a 7/8″ strip from the measuring tape paper and adhered it to the side panels and lid.

After my earlier fussy cutting adventure, I had lots of tools to choose from. So I chose some of them and added them to the box.

This was such a fun project to make. Now to find someone who likes Crunchie bars.

Tomorrow’s Fun Fold Friday card also features a colouring technique.

Until then, happy stamping.

Today’s card continues this week’s focus on the Trusty Tools Bundle.

For this card I wanted to create a tools peg board.

I used the peg board die, from the Trusty Tools Dies, to cut three Copper Clay boards.

Two of the boards were adhered to the Basic White card base and the third was added using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

After lots of fussy cutting, I arranged the tools on the front of the card and used dimensionals to secure them in place.

I attached a fussy cut spanner to the back of the envelope.

The greeting was stamped for the front of the card and inside.

Tomorrow I have a 3D project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.
