WAYS WITH PUNCHES

Hello and welcome to another Wednesday Freshly Brewed Projects Blog Hop. Thank you for joining me, and the other wonderful Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators taking part.

Our theme today is WAYS WITH PUNCHES. I decided to use the TREASURED MEDALLIONS BUNDLE for this project.

TREASURED MEDALLION BUNDLE

This is a two-for-one opportunity … two events, one card. I am also using this project for the #CI94 COLOUR INKSPIRATION CHALLENGE.

Stampin’ Up!® have done such a great job by adding another ‘Pick a Punch’ – Lovely Labels, and now, TREASURED TAGS PICK A PUNCH.

I used my Stamparatus to evenly space the image across the piece of Basic White card stock. Then the four colours, from the challenge, were cut into decreasing sizes of card stock to be used as layered mats.

Both punch shapes remind me of domes. I chose the one with the ‘spire’ to punch 1″ strips of card that I attached behind the mat layers and aligned to the stamped images.

Finally, I coloured some more Pearl Basic Jewels to coordinate. Just a touch of bling.

Who are the ‘treasures’ in your life? Who would you send this card to?

Don’t forget to hop along to see the other projects:

TREASURED MEDALLION

Hello and welcome to today’s project post. I hope that you like what you see.

This is the first card I have made using the TREASURED MEDALLION SRAMP SET from the JANUARY – JUNE MINI CATALOGUE. I knew that I wanted to stamp and colour the medallion. When I saw the colours chosen for the #CI94 COLOUR INKSPIRATION CHALLENGE, I had my colour palette.

May be an image of text that says '#94 COLOUR InksTN CHALLENGES Seaside Spray Mango Melody Crumb Cake Very Vanilla Misty Moonlight'

I decided to use my Basic White card stock rather than Very Vanilla.

After colouring the medallion, I took my paper snips and fussy cut the shape – very carefully.

The ‘arch’ image was stamped using my Stamparatus. After one end was stamped, I turned the mat panel 180° and stamped it a second time. The space between the two stamped images was perfect to place the medallion, popped up on dimensionals.

What do you think of the sentiment? Wouldn’t it be lovely to receive a card from someone letting you know that you inspire them?

The Stampin’ Blends make it so easy to colour coordinate embellishments, like the Pearl Basic Jewels, for any project.

The images in this set remind me of Middle Eastern architecture and images.

Happy stamping and colouring.
