MEMORYKEEPING MONDAY IS NOW MY THING!

I’m back from my week away and looking forward to sharing some projects using the Birthday Fancy Kit ($44 166211).

The kit comes with everything you need to make these 12 individual cards.

My projects this week will use these kit items to make completely different projects.

I made a two page scrapbooking layout using some of the kit items but also added some other bits and pieces from my stash.

I started by adhering some strips of Cloud Cover and Lost Lagoon card on each of the pages.

The next step was to add a 6″x 4″ Basic White photo placecard onto a 1 1/2″x 4 1/2″ Cloud Cover matte.

The titles for each page were made by adding Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Lost Lagoon card and cutting the letters with the Playful Alphabet Dies.

The journalling panels were made using the notebook Just a Note dies. I used the coordinating stamp set to add the Lost Lagoon lines on the notebook die cut. The notebook pages were then adhered to another Cloud Cover panel.

I used the tab and paperclip dies to cut these shapes and add them to the notebook page.

Then I decorated both pages using the decorative elements from the kit.

I think these pages would be great for photos from a birthday gathering or a high tea. What photos would you add to these pages?

Tomorrow I have a card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbboking.

MONDAY MORNING AND IT IS TIME TO ANNOUNCE THAT I AM ON HOLIDAYS THIS WEEK

While the school holidays are on I am taking this week off to spend time with Rob.

We are heading to the Gold Coast today for a couple of days and then just enjoying each other’s company – and a lovely, belated anniversary lunch.

I have made all the projects to share with you next week. I will be featuring the just released Birthday Fancy Kit (166211 $44AU).

I have not made any of the cards that are suggested in the kit but have looked at alternative uses for the kit. I hope you will join me next week to see whar I have created.

Until then, Happy stamping and scrapbooking.

MAKING A MEMORY KEEPING PAGE EACH MONDAY

Although I am posting this page quite late today I have a memory keeping page to share.

This week I am featuring the Floral Charm Suite Collection (166141).

Today has been a wet and colder day than we have experienced so far this winter, so the thought of a lovely spring day warms me well.

I started with an Old Olive Two-tone 12″x 12″ card and adhered a slightly smaller piece of one of the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper designs to it.

After cutting my Basic White photo mattes, I used the Perennial Postage Dies to cut Old Olive frames.

For the title I added Adhesive Sheets to the back of some Timid tiger card and die cut the letters. The Playful Alphabet Dies are such a great new addition to Stampin’ Up! product range.

To embellish the page I stamped, coloured and die cut three of the smaller floral images form the Charming Day Stamp Set.

The final touch was to add some of the Flat Pearls from the new In Colour pack.

For the rest of the week I will show you several different projects particularly highlighting the DSP.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
