FRIDAY IS ALL ABOUT THE FUN OF A FUN FOLD CARD

Today I have a Square Pillar Card to share with you.

It really is an easy card to create and I hope that you make your own version of it.

The card does fold flat so that you can pop it into an envelope but then when you want it to stand, you just need to push the pillar into its square shape.

This is a great card to showcase coordinating designer series papers.

I used three different paper designs for this card.

The right hand panel lifts up to reveal more card – perfect for writing your greeting to its recipient.

The greeting was stamped in Lost Lagooon onto a piece of Basic White card. This was then adhered to a Pretty Peacock panel.

Before attaching the greeting panel, I took some of the leaf and flower card shapes, coloured them and then attached them, as you can see.

Finally, I tied a triple Linen Thread bow and secured it with a Mini Glue Dot.

I hope that you liked this week’s projects.

Next week I have some very special projects to share with you!

In late July I was asked if I would create a 10 minute video highlighting a stamp set for the Demonstrator Plannning Place and was delighted to say yes.

This video was shared with other demonstrators this week and now I am preparing to share these projects with you.

So until next week, happt stamping and scrapbooking.

THURSDAY IS MY DAY FOR 3D PROJECTS

I recently saw a Facebook reel showing how to make an Origami gift box.

I used a 12″x 12″ piece of Designer Series Paper to create the gift box. It does use some Tear & Tape at each end.

The box holds 6 chocolates.

I used two lengths of the new Irregular weave Trim to hold the box closed and create a decorative finish.

The greeting was stamped in Pretty Peacock and cut using one of the Nested Essentials Dies.

Tomorrow I have a Fun Fold Card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

WHAT’S NEW THIS WEEK – IT’S TIME FOR A WEDNESDAY UPDATE & ANOTHER NEW PROJECT

Today I have another Everyday You & Me project to share with you.

I started with a Pretty Peacock cardbase. Before adding the designer series paper layers. a length of white Baker’s Twine was wrapped around and a triple bow added.

Then three precut flowers were coloured using Lost Lagoon and a Blending Brush. Then they were stacked with dimensionals between each layer. After adding these to the card front I added one of the hearts and greetings from the sticker sheet.

Then I coloured some of the white Neutral Matte Dots with Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends and added them to the card.

The card insert and envelope had designer series paper added to them.

Tomorrow I have a 3D project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
