TUESDAY IS FOR TECHNIQUES & TIPS

Today I am creating with layers and focal points.

I cut two identical panels of designer series paper.

A length of Linen Thread was wrapped around one of the DSP panels and tied off.

The first panel was then adhered to a Lost Lagoon cardbase.

Then I cut two 3/4″ outer strips and one 1″ inner strip. These strips had dimensionals added before being positioned over the base DSP panel.

I cut a 2″ wide piece of Lost Lagoon card and used the Alphabet a la Mode dies to create the ‘you & me’ greeting.

This die cut panel then had dimensionals added before attaching a Wild Wheat DSP panel. I positioned the die cut panel on the card front and marked where to cut the angled ends.

The greeting panel was adhered to the card front.

I took some of the white Neutral Matte Dots and coloured them with the dark Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends pen.

The card insert and back of the envelope had DSP added to them.

Tomorrow I have another card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

MEMORY KEEPING CATCH UP

Today is Tuesday and I am a day late sharing my memory keeping layout.

This week I am featuring the Everyday You & Me Designer Series Paper & Sticker Sheet (as well as the reitred Scrapbooking Workshop Kit).

These are the layouts suggested in the kit.

I created my own double page layout for this post.

The two pages align across the ‘centre’.

These are super, simple layouts but suitable for all sorts of occasions.

Tomorrow I have a card to share.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

FABULOUS FUN FOLD FRIDAY

This is my last project, featuring the Everyday Happiness DSP & Sticker Sheet pack, is a Fun Fold card.

The card is totally inspired by Jackie Bolhuis (Klompens Stampers). Thank you Jackie.

The card front panel had a panel of DSP adhered in place. Then I cut two of the elongated hexagonal shapes, from the Nested Essentials Dies, one in card and the other in DSP.

Before these two pieces were adhered together, I wrapped a length of Baker’s Twine around the DSP piece and tied a bow.

This panel was then positioed halfway across the front flap.

The sentiment was stamped and adhered inside the card front.

Then I stamped some floral and leaf images on the card insert and envelope.

It has been an awesome week, especially after having enjoyed OnStage so much.

I’m not sure what I have for you next week … but, it may be some of the new goodies from the upcoming 2025-2026 Annual Catalogue.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
