TECHNIQUE TUESDAY SHOWS YOU HOW TO USE UP SCRAPS OF PAPER & CARD

Do you have lots of leftover strips of paper and card on your desk like I do? Sometimes it seems easier just to throw them away but they can still be usefil.

The technique I am using today is all about using these strips to create an interesting card front.

I used several 3/4″ and 1/2″ strips of DSP and card.

To create the frayed edges on the 3/4″ strips I scraped my scissors along the sides.

For the 1/2″ strips I created a banner end using the 3 Banner Punch.

I attached these strips and punch strips ontl a Basic White panel and then coloured and wrapped some Baker’s Twine around it. Then I secured it to a Berry Burst cardbase.

A Basic White panel was added to inside the card and a strip of the Bubb;e Bath and white flocked DSP was placed on the insert.

To finish the card I added some Dreamy Flowers embellishments.

Tomorrow I want to share a Shadow Box with you.

Until then, happy stamping and memory keeping.
