A WELL DRESSED MAN

I seem to be on a masculine project roll this week.

Today’s card is quite simple but looks very presented, like the stamps in the WELL DRESSED STAMP SET from the Sale-a-bration Second Release Brochure.

I decided to also use a sentiment and DSP from the COUNTRY CLUB SUITE.

I used my STAMPARATUS to hinge stamp the graphic on the right hand side of the card. I stamped the image three times, with a double hinge step between each. Then I placed the stamp in the opposite direction to complete the design.

I used my Garden Green Marker to colour the Happy Father’s Day section of this stamp:

I have used the Stitched Rectangles Dies so many times since adding it to my craft collection. I used the same die for both stamped pieces but used the die again to create the square for the sentiment.

Although Father’s Day is not until September, in Australia, I have a card ready for the occasion.

Thanks for dropping by … happy stamping.

COLOUR INSPIRATION

I found a Lindt chocolate bunny while I was shopping last week and I bought it because I thought I could colour some of the FLOWERING FOILS SPECIALTY DSP and make a gift box for it.

I used STAMPIN’ BLENDS to colour the flowers. The box was quick and easy to make, as was the belly band, and I actually did some fussy cutting.

The WORD WISHES DIES, from the Annual Catalogue, were perfect for the ‘Happy Easter’.

With only five weeks until Easter, I still have a few more gift boxes to make.

Thanks for dropping by … happy stamping.

BEAUTIFULLY BRAIDED

Slowly working my way through the new products from the January to June 2020 Mini Catalogue has been a ‘labour of love’ … I love the diversity of the images and styles and possibilities.

Today is all about the Beautifully Braided photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Braided Border Punch.

The main leaf image in this stamp set is simply stunning.

I wanted the card to include a single stamped image with water colouring … my favourite type of colouring, messy. This is the first time I have used the Fluid 100 Water Colour Paper … thumbs up.

Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink are perfect … and the small piece of coordinating ribbon just finishes the card off.

As you can see, I have also stamped the same image onto one of the mini pizza boxes from the Annual Catalogue.

The punch was used to cut a length of braid to wrap around three sides of the box. Before I attached it, I used some Frost White Shimmer Paint with a drop of Soft Sea Foam reinker and painted this across the braid, giving it lovely shimmer.

Finally, I used another piece of the Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon to tie and attach a bow.

mmm … very happy!

Tomorrow, I’ll be playing with music.

Thanks for dropping by … happy stamping.
