GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Hello to each of you who have popped in to see my latest project. I appreciate you taking the time.

For this card I wanted to use another of the stamps from the CIRCLE CELEBRATION STAMP SET.

CIRCLE CELEBRATION PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET
I USED THE STAMP IN THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER

I hoped that if I stamped this in Versamark and then used HEAT & EMBOSS POWDER, I could achieve an interested gilded effect with the GILDED LEAFING.

I made and cut five of the gilded circles. Two were added to the embossed mat. Then I cut many flowers, using the FLORAL HEARTS DIES, from the remaining circles.

The SCRIPTY 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER was used to add texture to the card mat.

I tried to use the GILDED LEAFING for the sentiment is from the ALWAYS IN MY HEART STAMP SET. However, after several attempts I did not get a result that I was happy with. Instead I used some GOLD STAMPIN’ EMBOSS POWDER.

The banner, from the FLORAL HEART DIES, coordinates perfectly with the sentiment.

This card is very different to what I would normally make. Black and gold!

What do you think of the gilding?

Happy stamping and gilding.

WHITE ON WHITE

Hello! I am grateful that you have popped by to see my latest project.

This is another white on white card, with a little Night of Navy poking through.

I used the DRAGONFLY PUNCH and punched lots and lots of dragonflies for the card front mat. Then this piece was given its texture by placing it inside the TASTEFUL TEXTILE 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER and running it through the STAMPIN’ CUT & EMBOSS MACHINE (my BIG BOSS).

This embossed mat was then adhered to a piece of Night of Navy card stock. Some Night of Navy twine, from the WELL SUITED TWINE PACK, was wrapped and tied around this layer before going onto a Basic White cardbase.

The sentiment is from the DRAGONFLY GARDEN STAMP SET and it was cut out using the STITCHED SO SWEETLY DIES.

I like the way this card turned out. Sometimes it’s hard not to keep adding elements to a project but for this card, nothing else was needed.

I would love you to leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Happy stamping.

ONE MORE CIRCLE CELEBRATION CARD

Hello! Thank you for popping by.

This is the third card I have made using the CIRCLE CELEBRATION STAMP SET. This is a rainbow inspired card.

I started by cutting 1/2″ strips of card stock in Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Mango Melody, Pacific Point and Poppy Parade. These were then adhered onto a piece of Basic White card stock. Then I cut some 1/2″ and 1″ strips of the rainbow.

Seeing these rainbow strips against the Basic Black card base was great – they totally pop on the black.

Then I stamped the large circle stamp, that has the three concentric images, three times in three colours. Then I used the LAYERING CIRCLES DIES to cut all three, as you can see. I popped each layer up with dimensionals.

Finally, I coloured the sentiment stamp with STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKERS™ to individually colour each of the letters. The rod, holding the letters, was coloured using Basic Gray.

This is a very colourful card – it’s certainly bright. Who would send a rainbow thank you card to?

Happy stamping!
