GIFT CARD BOXES

Hello to each of you who are popping by to see what I have created this time – I hope that you leave me a comment so that I know what you think.

Ages ago, I shared some 3″x 3″ gift cards using some Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Sael-a-bration Catalogue. I made 15 gift cards but had not ceated a gift box to pop them into. And, now I have!

This is a custom made gift box, designed to hold 15 gift cards and envelopes. Although the DSP is no longer available, I still have heaps and decided to use it to make a coordinating gift box.

GIVE AWAY ALERT – If you live in Australia and you are not a demonstrator, make sure that you leave a comment and if you are one of the first 8 crafters to do so – I will send you a 6″x 6″ DSP share.

I used the MANY MESSAGES BUNDLE for this project. I plan to stamp and die cut this in all the Stampin’ Up!© colours, so that I have a great range of sentiments ready to use!

The second gift card box was, almost, shared on a recent Facebook Live – but, there was a slight error in my measurements. I have now fixed that and will share it instructions here.

This is a perfectly sized gift box to hold 15 gifr cards and envelopes.

I made 15 gift cards to pop inside this gift box. Here they are –

The birthday sentiment and coordinating die are from the ART GALLERY BUNDLE – ART GALLERY STAMP SET & FLORAL GALLERY DIES.

I think these next three gift cards are my favourites from this bundle. Using the RECTANGLE POSTAGE STAMP PUNCH gives an amazing base panel for a small card.

I am so very happy with the way this project turned out. I think this is a wonderful gift to give to someone special on their birthday, so that they have 15 birthday gift cards to share with others.

Who would you give this birthday cards gift box to? And, why?

Happy stamping!

TIME FOR SOME MORE COLOUR INKSPIRATION!

Hello – thank you for popping by. I really appreciate the time you take to see what I have been creating.

Today is the end of the two week period for the #CI95 Colour Inkspiration Challenge.

No photo description available.

This is the amazing inspiration this time around!

For this challenge I decided to use the BUTTERFLY BRILLIANCE COLLECTION. I especially wanted to use the bricks die to create spaces for the three purple colours to pop through.

The butterfly has three layers, all cut with the same die from the BRILLIANT WINGS DIES. The top and bottom layer were cut from vellum and the middle layer from a scrap of Balmy Bay card stock. I stamped the edges of the wings with Versamark before adding and heating some HEAT & STICK POWDER, so that I could adhere GILDED LEAFING EMBELLISHMENT.

I used the bricks to cut six areas, on a Basic Black mat, so that I could adhere strips of Blackberry Bliss, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather behind the mat layer. This was then attached to a Basic Black card base.

The sentiment is from the YOU ARE AMAZING STAMP SET. The ‘you are’ was covered with a sticky note so that when the ink pad was used those words were left clean. The sticky note was removed and the sentiment stamped onto a scrpa of Balmy Blue card stock. Then it was cut using a STITCHED RECTANGLE DIE.

To assemble the card, I used Mini Glue Dots to hold the GOLD HOOPS EMBELLISHMENT in place before placing the sentiment onto the card front. The sentiment was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a strip from the side of the Stampin’ Dimensionals sheet to place under the centre of the butterfly. And finally, some GILDED GEMS to make sure there was a little bling.

My card is certainly much darker than the original image inspiration but I like it.

Who would you send a card, that says ‘Amazing’, to?

Happy stamping.

TASTY TREATS

Hello! I am so pleased that you have popped by to see what I’ve created for today’s post.

I have started to join in with the weekly Global Design Project

This week’s Global Design Project theme challenge is Treats – making projects that feature food. This is a very tasty theme. Make sure that you click on the GDP Icon, below, to see all the other amazing projects.

For my project I decided to use the PRETTIEST BIRTHDAY BUNDLE.

Lots of lovely macarons lined up alongside birthday gift bags.

The PEARLESCENT SPECIALTY PAPER is simply stunning and creates such a sumptuous fininsh. As you can see, I cut a panel using one of the CURVY DIES and the a second panel was embossed. I used the DAINTY DIAMONDS 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER.

I wrapped a length of SEASIDE SPRAY METALLIC RIBBON across the embossed panel. The pearlescent panels and ribbon were then adhered onto this piece of SAND & SEA DESIGNER SERIES PAPER, from the SAND & SEA SUITE. I love the way that I can so easily bring together Stampin’ Up!® products, from so many different bundles and suites, so easily.

The tasseled banners look amazing in this birthday scene. The only thing needed to finish the front of the card is the ‘for you’ greeting.

The final birthday surprise can be found on the inside of the card – a birthday greeting and cake.

On closer inspection, you might be able to see that I added some Wink of Stella to the glass domes and tissue paper.

Who would you give this birthday card to?

Happy stamping.
