FRIDAY IS THE DAY FOR FUN FOLD CARDS

Today I have a super, simple pop-up card to share with you.

Like many of this week’s projects, this card has a Basic Black base and gold foil and Basic Black panels.

I transferred the gold ‘mesh’ design from the Metallic Textures Rub-ons to a piece of Basic Black card. Then I used one of the squares, from the Stylish Shapes Dies, to cut it out.

Then I cut a gold foil square using the next largest square die. These two squares were then layered up with dimensionals and then popped up on the card front.

The greeting was made using the Sweet Blooms Dies. I attached Adhesive Sheet to the back of both the gold foil and black card so that I could layer them effectively.

I attached another of the black squares on the back of the envelope.

I transferred the gold feather/branch to the card insert.

The pop-up mechanism was so easy to make. After attaching the mechanism inside the card, I added the third black square with the gold ‘mesh’ transfer.

I’m not sure what I am planning for next week as yet but I will be back next Monday to start the week creatively.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

LOTS OF FUN THIS FUN FOLD CARD FRIDAY

Today I have a Buckle Fun Fold Card to share with you.

I started with a Basic White card base.

After securing the buckle strip I added some panels from one of the Cloud Cover spotted kit cards.

The Strawberry Slush doily element comes from the Birthday Fancy Kit.

I cut Cloud Cover and Basic White circles using the Stylish Shapes Dies. After adding Stampin’ Dimensionals to each of the layers I added a mini magnet to the back of the circles and adhered them to the buckle.

A second magnet was added between the card base and Cloud Cover layer to help ensure the buckle stays closed.

The cake elements were added to the card, as were some Strawberry Slush Flat Pearls.

The greeting was stamped using Strawberry Slush ink.

The card insert had a second greeting added as well as a cherry image.

It has been loads of fun creating these projects using the Birthday Fancy Kit.

I have a couple of bonus projects to share with you over the weekend.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

3D THURSDAY HAS ROLLED AROUND AGAIN!

For today’s projects I used some of the card bases from the kit.

I made two different sized gift boxes.

I made the larger gift box using two of the cardbases. The cards were scored and trimmed before being glued together to make the box.

The second gift box, perfect to pop a chocolate into, was made with just one card.

I used the Unbounded Love and Stylish Shapes Dies to cut the backgrounds for the heat embossed greetings.

The gold shapes and greetings were added to the top of boxes using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The weight of the cards is perfect for making sturdy gift boxes.

Tomorrow i have a fun fold card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
