GIFT BAG

After making the Christmas gift bags earlier in the week, I decided to venture into different Designer Series Paper. I discovered this style of gift bag after watching a Ronda Wade Facebook Live last week.

For this gift bag, I used the PEONY GARDEN DESIGNER SERIES PAPER and the PETAL PINK ORGANDY STRIPED RIBBON for the handles and bow.

I made the coordinating gift card using the same DSP, Petal Pink card stock and HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS STAMP SET.

The birthday greeting was stamped, directly onto the piece of DSP, using the Basic Gray Classic Stampin’ Pad.

I found this clip at a local stationery store.

The gift bag is 6″ wide, 3″ deep and 8.5″ tall. Big enough to hold all kinds of birthday goodness!

I’m going to add this gift bag to my collection for my stall at the DOCKSIDE MARKETS, Kangaroo Point, on the 5th and 6th of December.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this gift bag. If you live in Australia, I would be happy to help you order any of them.

THE GIFT OF GIVING

I found a box of yummy looking petit fours and new I could make a lovely gift box to turn it into a gift for someone special.

Mr Kipling French Fancies

This is one of four different gift boxes I made on the weekend.

Today, my eldest daughter asked if I had something she could give to her boss because she has been so thoughtful and supportive – of course, I have something – silly question.

I teamed the gorgeous PEONY GARDEN DESIGNER SERIES PAPER with Petal Pink cardstock to make the box.

Then it was time to use the PEONY DIES to cut three complete flowers in vellum. These were each coloured using PETAL PINK, GRAY GRANITE and SMOKY SLATE BLENDS.

The ribbon is from the just released AUGUST THROUGH DECEMBER MINI CATALOGUE. It is the 1.5″ METALLIC MESH RIBBON – it is, oh, so pretty.

Finally, the greeting is from the TASTEFUL TOUCHES STAMP SET and is cut using the TASTEFUL LABELS DIES.

THREE FLOWERS – THREE DIFFERENT COLOURS
AND, LOTS OF WINK OF STELLA
AND, LOTS OF TASTY TREATS!

I hope that Ashleigh’s boss likes her gift.

Totally happy with this project – what do you think?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping and gift box making!

PRETTY PEONY GIFT BOX

I haven’t finished playing with the PEONY GARDEN SUITE yet. There is still so much to create using all the very pretty elements.

This time I made a 4″x 4″x 2″ gift box.

Using just PETAL PINK and WHISPER WHITE – super simple and elegant.

The PEONY DIES are great. You can just stamp and die cut the flower’s outline or cut the layers to create a 3D peony.

My favourite die is the scalloped emboss and cut die. I used it to finish off the tag on the top of the box.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping (and gift box making).
