FACEBOOK LIVE CARD

Hello and welcome to my Saturday post. I’m pleased that you have been able to pop by.

Yesterday I shared a card using the birds image from the Classic Cloche Stamp Set. During my Facebook Live, two days ago, I used the same stamp sets and layout to create a Christmas card.

This is very quick post today to share that card with you – no backdrop behind the card for the photos and no product list – I know, very cheeky!

I chose to use Balmy Blue, Basic White, Real Red and Shaded Spruce for this version; as well as a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. The ribbon is the Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon.

As you can see there is no backdrop today just my very messy desk.

I hope you like this version of the card.

Until next time, happy stamping.

A LITTLE NOTE

Hello and welcome. Thanks for popping by today.

Today I’m using the Classic Cloche Stamp Set for a non-Christmas card.

CLASSIC CLOCHE BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

I thought the birds were lovely and would make a sweet card if stamped several times.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the birds three times. Then they were coloured using Balmy Blue, Old Olive and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends.

I also coloured a length of Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim to coordinate with the birds. The ribbon was tied in a bow and then wrapped and secured around the stamped birds panel.

The greeting is from the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set.

I used the dots from the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders duo to repeat the dots from the stamped image on a panel of Balmy Blue.

The layers were then added to the card front. The Balmy Blue panel was glued down before the stamped panel was popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I embossed some So Saffron cardstock to add to the card insert and envelope. The final touch was to add some Elegant Faceted Gems.

Who would you send ‘a little note’ to?

Until next time, happy stamping.

BRING ON CHRISTMAS

Hello and welcome to today’s Christmas in July project. Thank you for popping by.

With only 5 months and 3 days until Christmas, I thought that I would share a new card using some of the new products that will be available from early August.

I used the Sweets & Treats and Classic Cloche Stamp Sets for this one. The first thing I did was choose the Designer Series Paper and colours that I wanted to use. The DSP is from the Tidings of Christmas 6″x 6″ DSP. The colours I used were Basic White, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and Shaded Spruce.

I started by stamping, colouring and fussy cutting the pudding, cloche dome and cake stand. Then I stamped the pudding onto the card base several times.

A piece of DSP was attached to a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock. I trimmed it back to achieve this irregular rhombus before adhering it to the card base.

I added the pudding and stand to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Some Clear Wink of Stella was added white pudding top, holly leaves and cake stand. I used some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels for the ‘holly berries’ and the ‘mixed dried fruit’ in the pudding.

The pudding image was also stamped inside the card and onto the envelope. Finally, I tied a bow using Metallic Mesh Ribbon and secured it to the cake stand with a Mini GLue Dot.

I think that you are going like these two new stamp sets – I know that I am looking forward to creating more projects using them.

What do you think? How would you use this card? I think that it would make a great family Christmas invitiation.

Happy stamping.
