IT’S TIME FOR A 3D THURSDAY SHARE

I recently bought a raspberry scented soap to create a gift box to pop it in. When we have guests I like to place a gift box, with soap in it, on their bed.

The soap was a perfect match to Melon Mambo card and the pinks in the Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper.

After creating the gift box I added a piece of the DSP to the top of the lid.

I used one of the stamps from the new Encircled in Love Stamp Set. It was stamped using the Secret Sea ink. Then I coloured the bow using the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend.

The 1 3/4″ circle punch was used to punch out the stamped image. A length of Swcret Sea Faux Linen Ribbon and secured it under the circle.

Then I took the new 1 7/8″ circle punch and cut a Daffodil Delight circle to position under the white circle.

Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I attached the circles to the top of the box.

Tomorrow I have two fun fold cards to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

THURSDAY IS ALL ABOUT THE 3D PROJECT

For today’s 3D project I wanted to create a triangular gift box.

Each of the sides measures 3 3/4″x 3 3/4″. The base and lid triangles are 3 1/4″ with half inch flaps on each side.

A small note about two-tone card – when it is cut you can see the white core.

I cut three of the outline arched shaped from another of the DSP designs.

Using a paper piercing tool, I made two small holes to thread some white baker’s twine through so that I could secure the lid.

I cut a slightly smaller triangle for the lid and stamped the greeting and decoration.

The 2025-2027 In Colour Flat Pearls were popped on top of the small sunburst.

I’m not sure what I will pop inside the box yet but it will be tasty!

Tomorrow I have three more cards to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

TODAY IS 3D THURSDAY

This week I always knew that I wanted to create a super large gift box to hold 20+ cards and envelopes.

The finished box measures 6 7/8″x 4 3/4″ and is 5″ deep.

After designing the pattern for this box and then cutting and assembling it, I then added card panels inside each area of the box to give it greater sturdiness and stability.

Once I had finsihed the gift box structure I then added Misty Moonlight card panels on the exterior areas of the gift box. This added colour and stability.

I wrapped a very long length of the Misty Moonlight Silver Edged Ribbon around the box, securing it to the front of the box.

The Misty Moonlight panel, on the top of the box, was then secured over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

This top panel then had many of the ephemera elements attached to it.

‘Thanks’ was the chosen greeting because I think this box of cards would make an amzing gift to thank someone for what they have done.

When this large gift box is opened, there are two sections holding cards that have covering panels to hold everything in place.

When the covering panels are removed, the cards are revealed.

Tomorrow I will show you the final cards that were made.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
