Hello again to those who have popped by for another peek at my crafting progress. If you are new, welcome.

One of my goals in 2020, was to post on my website more regularly, aiming for every day. I came close. In 2021, want to improve on this and also use my other social media platforms more often as well.

Another key goal for 2021 is to participate in blog hops regularly. I have scheduled some blogs into my planner and have been enjoying this challenge.

I have added Kylie Bertucci’s monthly International Blog Highlights to my schedule.

The ongoing theme for this blog hop is THANK YOU. I really like this theme, while it might seem like the idea of thanking someone is unfashionable, it is alive and well and needs to be modelled for others. If I send someone a thank you card, that is a prompt for them to remember to thank others for what they appreciate.

This is the card I made for the February 2021 Blog Highlights – an image of my card is posted on Kylie’s gallery.

This gallery features everyone’s submissions and gives you the opportunity to vote for up to 5 of your favourite cards. The top 10 vote winners then get to participate in an International Blog Hop. Would you consider taking a moment and voting for my card? I’d really appreciate it!

I took the idea of adding extra vellum single flowers, from yesterday’s card, and amped it up for this one.

I cut lots of vellum flowers and also cut flowers from some of the DSP I chose for this card.

There wasn’t much stamping on this card but lots of lovely Stampin’ Up!® paper and colour.

The texture that was achieved by adding all of the individual flowers is even better than I hoped for. i used quite a few Mini Glue Dots getting these flowers attached.

That’s the last of the hydrangea cards for the moment. Onto different ideas and products.

Hello! I’m so pleased that you have popped by my website/page/post/blog … to see what I have been up to in the wonderful world of Stampin’ Up!® creativity.

Some of my recent posts have featured the HYDRANGEA HILL DESIGNER SERIES PAPER. There is one design that screamed out to me to use for a masculine card. Obviously, without using the HYDRANGEA HAVEN BUNDLE.

I decided to use this sheet of DSP and integrate it with the WELL SUITED SUITE.

This card is all about collars and ties. And, it is a very uncomplicated card – quick and easy.

I used the tie die to cut the three ties – to create the three different ties, I moved the die to focus on three different angles of the paper. Then I cut three collars, as you can see.

The birthday greeting is clean and sharp. Next time I make this card I think that I will stamp the greeting a second time using a coordinating gray ink so that I can cut BIRTHDAY separately and overlay it – just a way to step up this card. You may have noticed that I have, again, used one of my favourite, go to, die sets – STITCHED RECTANGLES DIES.

I stamped one of the ties, in Mossy Meadow, on the card insert and envelope (although, I couldn’t find the envelope when I took this photo).

There are no ribbons or bling, but I think it is a great masculine birthday card.

Hello and welcome. If you are returning, a huge thank you. If you are new, I’m so pleased that you found me.

As promised, I’m not posting my cactus cards day after day, just every other a day. Only five more to go – only ten days.

For this card, I stamped my own Designer Series Paper using some of the stamps from the FLOWERING CACTUS STAMP SET.

The two flowers were also stamped onto the card insert and envelope.

I used Terracotta Tile and Pear Pizzazz. Then it was adhered to a piece of ‘real’ DSP.

The prickly pear was fussy cut from the DSP and adhered onto a die cut piece of Basic White caard stock. The

The felt flower is a cute finishing touch to the terracott pot.

I have a question for you. Should I make cards that have different folds to the tent fold card I make most of the time?
