Today’s 3D project was inspired by a spare butterfly from Monday’s scrapbooking layout.

I used the spare Berry Burst bokeh and Basic White butterfly and created a gift box for it.
The Berry Burst box measures 2 1/2″x 2 1/2″ and is 3″ deep. The lid is 2 1/2″x 2 1/2″ and 1″ deep. The lid sides were scored just under (1/16″) an inch to make the lid just ever so slightly larger than the box itself.

Once the box and lid were assembled, I attached the large detailed butterlfy to the front of the box.
Then I cut lots and lots of Berry Burst bokeh small detailed butterflies. These were attached to the top of the lid using Multipurpose Glue and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added lots of the Iridescent Facted Gems to the centre of each butterfly.

I can imagine popping a beautiful white silk scarf in this gift box.
What would you pop inside?

Tomorrow I have an Easel Fun Fold card to share with you.
Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
