TUESDAY IS ALL ABOUT SHARING TECHNIQUES

A simple technique that I use often is LAYERING.

I especially enjoy layering elements at angles. Today I have two cards to share with you using this technique.

The first uses strips of card cut from a couple of the Memories & More cards.

The background was mounted onto a Secret Sea matte and then adhered to the cardbase.

I took a length of white twine and pulled it apart before tying it around one of the strips.

The strips were then overlapped, layered and then adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I die cut three scalloped strips and attached one to the card front, one inside the card and two on the back of the envelope.

The greeting was made using the Delightful Wishes Dies. Remember to use Adhesive Sheets on the back of your card before die cutting the layers.

To finish this card I added some Secret Sea Flat Pearls.

The next card features the Joyful Squares Stamp Set and Dies.

After attaching the butterfly garden card to a Secret Sea matte and white card base, I die cut three squares and layered and attached them.

The greeting was stamped and die cut then added to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I die cut 5 of the scalloped pieces and added them to the card insert and the back of the envelope.

To finish the card I added some Cloud Cover Flat Pearls.

So, what do think about these layering and angleing card elements?

Tomorrow, two more projects to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

MONDAY IS USUALLY FOR MEMORY KEEPING BUT THIS WEEK IT’S ALL ABOUT MEMORIES & MORE

This week I amusing the Days Like These Memories & More Card Pack and the Basic White Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes to create a variety of cards for different occasions.

166911 $20.25 AUD

This pack has 54 double-sided cards – just think how many cards you can make!

159234 $20.25 AUD

This pack contains 20 cards in two different sizes. With two packs you can create 40 different cards.

My first card is super simple.

I trimmed the butterfly panel and adhered it to a Garden Green panel.

I took one of the M&M cards and trimmed around the greeting, ensuring that I left the white splatter in place.

A length of the Garden Green and WhiteChevron Ribbon was folded and attached to the back of the greeting panel.

Another strip from the Card Pack wasadhered inside the card.

Finally, a panel of Garden Green card was attached to the envelope flap and trimmed.

For this card I used one of the Daffodil Delight cards and the Joyful Squares Bundle.

The patterned card was trimmed down and mounted onto a Daffodil Delight panel. these were then attached to a Basic White card base.

I stamped and heat embossed the greeting with white embossing powder.

After stamping and die cutting the white square frame, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up above the greeting.

i added some Darling Duckling Flat Pearls to the front of the card.

I added two triangles of the card design inside the card and a panel of Daffodil Delight card to the back of the envelope.

Finally, I added a double bow.

Let me know which of the you prefer.

Tomorrow I have two more cards to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

A SATURDAY SPECIAL – ANOTHER PROJECT TO SHARE

This card was the first card I made featuring the Joyful Squares Bundle and the Square Snippets Designer Series Paper.

For texture, I used the Beautiful Pattern 3D embossing Folder.

After embossing a Basic White panel, I wrapped a length of white Baker’s Twinearound it several times before tying a bow.

The embossed panel was adhered to the Pool Party card base.

Then I took 7 DSP strips – four 1/2″ strips and three 1″ strips, and overlapped them at angles over the twine. Each strip was attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The greeting was stamped using Strawberry Slush and then die cut using the almost round die.

Three Strawberry SLush Flat Pearls were added to the card front as embellishments.

Next week I have some projects to share with you using the Days Like This Memories & More Card Pack.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
