mmm...Stampin' Time

BIRTHDAY BONANZA TRIO

The BIRTHDAY BONANZA SUITE is such a bright, colourful and fun collection of products to make any birthday celebration an event!

These three cards were made for a Stampin’ Up! ® demonstrator challenge. The theme this month is BIRTHDAY and the supplies we can use are limited to stamps, ink and paper (specifically, Designer Series Paper).

The benefit of photopolymer stamps is that you can see exactly where you are stamping, so you can achieve even spacing.

All three strips of DSP are from the same paper bundle and they coordinate with six Stampin’ Up! colours. I only stamped with five of the colours for two of the cards. For the candle card, I used one colour and used the stamping off technique to achieve two shades.

#simplestamping is not my usual stamping style but it’s refreshing to use the basics.

SAMPLER CARDS

Recently, I posted that I had been to a Paper Angels paper crafting day and it was an amazing day.

One of the projects featured the BY THE DOCK BUNDLE in a decor sampler.

I had to head home before our last make and take session so I took the project pieces home to finish later.

I couldn’t think of anyone I could gift the sampler to but thought I could make some masculine sampler cards instead.

A few products from other suites and bundles were also used. There will be a product list under each image.

HEADING TO MAUI?

I celebrated my 7th year as a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator two days ago – several years as a hobby demonstrator and the last couple evolving into a business demonstrator.

With this comes goal setting and challenges.

I have achieved my goal to attend On Stage Live events internationally and am still working toward others, including progressing to Silver Elite and earning an Incentive Trip.

One way that I thought I could encourage myself to continue to work toward these goals was to create a swap that I could take on an incentive trip.

With the 2020 Incentive Trip being Maui, I knew that the TROPICAL OASIS SUITE would be perfect.

However, it wasn’t until I saw a recent Facebook Live from Emma Goddard that I knew what I could create … THANK YOU EMMA FOR YOUR INSPIRATION!

She, so cleverly, created a lid for the bag from the ALL DRESSED UP DIES using the STITCHED NESTED LABELS DIES to create a gift box.

While I was watching Emma’s feed, I could see a tropical beach bag …

Oops, my bag lid looks a bit wonky in this photo.

Time for a close up –

**The textures of the 3D embossing folder, trinkets and burlap are perfect for a beach bag!**

So, no Maui beach bags to swap this year.

Time to move onto Caribbean inspired creations and working hard to qualify!

I used products from four different bundles/suites for this project – that is how amazing Stampin’ Up! coordination is!
