HAPPY HIBISCUS

The days are still warm and the nights are getting a little cooler. I’m lucky enough to look outside our apartment and see blue sky, the trees and river. The gardens in our unit complex has, among other beautiful trees, plants and flowers; hibiscus.

The TROPICAL OASIS SUITE is rich with floral and leaf images in resplendent tropical colours.

For this project, I did some borderless water colouring on some FLUID 100 WATER COLOUR PAPER. I used the Staz On Saddle Brown inkpad, stamped off onto my grid sheet and then coloured the hibiscus and leaves, using an aqua painter and inks.

I love the way embossing folders always add interesting texture to cards and the COASTAL WEAVE 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER is one of my favourites.

I am going to miss the 2018 – 2020 In Colours! The GRAPEFRUIT GROVE worked perfectly on the hibiscus. Actually, I am going to miss ALL these colours!

Out with the old and in with the new. There will be a new set of five In Colours for 2020 – 2022. There will be retiring products, a list of which I will post. And, then there will be lots of new goodies for us all to craft with.
