WHOOPS – I’VE MISSED A FEW!

Hello to each of you. Thanks for popping by.

I had meant to post a panel card on Wednesday but the day got away from me. I did my Facebook Live, making the panel card. Then I finished preparing for my Coffee & Card at Medley Cafe. It was lovely to have a new lady join me and it was her first time stamping – it was wonderful to see the look on her face after she stamped that first image. Finally, I had an appointment and that was the day.

The panel card was the theme for this week’s Freshly Brewed Project Blog Hop. Unfortunately I missed this week. Leonie and Narelle both posted their projects and I have these links for you, so that you can see what they created. Just click on the images to go to their posts.

The same theme but we each created very different cards using a very similar layout. We also used completely different products.

I used the Love You Always Suite for the panel card. It is a simple layout but looks so different with different colours, Designer Series Paper, sentiments, dies and embellishments. I wanted to focus on Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Love You Always Foil Sheets for this project.

It interesting to see how the foil works alongside the matte of the cardstock, especially in the ‘always’ piece. I wrapped the Blushing Bride twine, from the Snail Mal Twine Combo Pack, around a piece of Sahara Sand and tied a bow.

This card is a simple variation of the first card. I used some Adhesive Sheets to attach the ‘always’ directly across the panels. THe ‘together’ was sramped in Blushing Bride before I cut it using one of the dies from the Always Dies.

Panel cards are an efffective way to feature Designer Series Paper and to use it!

Happy stamping.

TIME FOR SOME FINE ART

Hello and welcome. Thank you for popping by and seeing what I have created for you today.

While I’m waiting for my delivery of brand, new and exciting products from the soon to be available 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue from Stampin’ Up!®, I am revisiting some of the products I have from the January to June Mini Catalogue.

It seems like ages since I used the Fine Art Floral Suite, so I made two cards to share today.

I love the texture the Stampin’ Up!® artists created when they painted the floral canvases that were used for the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. The colours are rich and vibrant.

I used my Treasured Tags Pick a Punch to make the Merry Merlot background for the birthday die cut greeting. If you haven’t seen the Floral Gallery Dies before, there are are two sizes of the scalloped label dies. The one I used here is the longest one. You can click on the image to go to my online store.

FLORAL GALLERY DIES

This is the second card.

I am so pleased that both the ribbons I used for these cards are carrying over into the new catalogue – Gray Granite 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon and 1-1/2″ Metallic Mesh Ribbon.

ART GALLERY PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

The greetings/sentiments in the Art Gallery Stamp Set are so versatile – they cover just about every occasion.

I enjoy having a variety of cards on hand and this stamp set helps make that possible.

I hope you like today’s projects.

Happy stamping.
