TIME FOR A MASCULINE CARD

Hello and welcome. Thanks for popping by today.

I have a masculine birthday card to share with you.

The ties, from the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set, were stamped in Versamark and then heat embossed using the white from the Basics Stampin’ Emboss Powders. The four ties were stamped onto the Night of Navy card layer. I stamped and embossed two more ties to fussy cut and pop up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a strip of paper, from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, under the stamped panel.

The birthday greeting, from the same stamp set, was also stamped and heat embossed before it was trimmed down and placed on the card.

One of the tie images was also stamped on the card insert and envelope.

Then I added three Clear Epoxy Essentials on the front of the card for a subtle touch of ‘boy bling’.

It has been quite a while since I have used this stamp set and I definitely need to use it more.

Today’s post is just a quick one so that I can make a few more projects and schedule some posts for the next few days.

Until next time , happy stamping.

BIRTHDAY SUIT

I laughed out loud when I chose this post title – please feel safe – there is nobody in their birthdday suit here.

The WELL SUITED SUITE is a wonderful collection of products for all the masculine cards and projects you want to make.

The stamp set – HANDSOMELY SUITED – and coordinating SUIT & TIE DIES will help you create such a wide variety of projects for the men in your life.

The WELL SUITED DESIGNER SERIES PAPER is the perfect match.

For this card, I chose a gray palette. And, I chose to use a pinstripe with a paisley. Such a well dressed card.

I think that I will replace the RHINESTONE BASIC JEWEL, on the tie bar, with a black embellishment – yet to decide.

Loving the totally cute, teeny-tiny 6 buttons that I can now die cut.

This card will be ideal for lots of different masculine occasions – birthday, congratulations (promotion, engagement, graduation etc) and many more occasions worthy of a classy suit card.

I am going to keep this card for my brother’s birthday, later in the year – he will be 51. He dresses well for his bank management job and I think he is quite a class act!

Who would you give a card like this to?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, I look forward to helping you place your order.
