FUN FOLD FRIDAY – TIME FOR ANOTHER PROJECT

My Fun Fold card today was inspired by Jacque Williams. It is a Never Ending Card.

When I saw Jacque’s project I tried to remember the last time I had made a Never Ending Card. So I knew it was definitely time to make another one.

The front page features the DSP, Crushed Curry card and the All Zipped Up stamp set. I have also added star and heart die cut shapes.

The second page introduces another DSP design, Blueberry Bushel card and ink, star die cuts and stamped spot images.

The third page has another DSP and more die cut stars and a heart.

The fourth and final page also features a different DSP design, Basic White panels for recording a birthday greeting and a single star die cut.

Well, I haven’t made one project that looks like a jacket or cardigan this week. I am so pleased that I found other ways to use this bundle and I hope that inspires you to think ‘outside the box’.

I haven’t decided what to feature next week – but, give me a little time and I’m sure I will have something that you will like to see.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

TUESDAY IS A TECHNIQUE KIND OF DAY

As you may now, from yesterday’s post, I am featuring the All Zipped Up Bundle and Full of Life 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

This is a wonderful pairing of products – and, the DSP is so gloriously bright and bold.

The technique I have used today is paper piecing.

I used the two long trim dies to cut the sheet of DSP and a panel of Granny Apple Green card.

After cutting the DSP and card, I alternated them and adhered them to a card panel to hold them in place.

After securing this panel to the cardbase, I stamped the greeting and added the zipper frame on either side. I trimmed this greeting panel and then attached it to the card using dimensionals.

I die cut three of the flowers and added them to the card.

Using Linen Thread, I tied a triple bow and attached it to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.

I attached a die cut flower to the back of the envelope and a strip of the DSP inside the card.

Tomorrow I have another technique card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
