Colour INKspiration Challenge #201

Hello everyone – wishing you all a wonderful holiday season.

Welcome to our 201st challenge at Colour INKspiration!

We welcome Sharon Cheatle as our Guest Designer.

Today’s picture which has inspired our colour palette was chosen by Colour INKspiration Crew Member, Bernie Roodt.

As well as the chosen colour combination for #CI201, Melon Mambo, Poppy Parade, Pretty Peacock and Gold, you may also add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Beige, Basic Black and metallics to your project. We also allow ‘Ivory’, ‘Bronze’ and ‘Natural Tones’ in the Stampin’ Blends. If you don’t have the colours in our palette, feel free to use the closest Stampin’ Up! (or any other brand) substitute – Real Red instead of Poppy Parade, for example.

To get your creative ideas flowing, make sure you check out the Crew’s Project in the #CI201Album –

Challenge guidelines:

· Create a NEW project made specifically for this challenge.

· Use all of the challenge colours (or close substitutions) unless stated.

· Upload only ONE picture per entry straight to the discussion wall and NOT in an album.

CI#201 will run for almost FIVE weeks and will end at 7 pm (AEDT) on Monday January 12th 2026.

We hope you can participate this round and look forward to seeing a variety of projects using the challenge colours. Happy stamping!

For this project I am featuring the Beautifully Celebrated Bundle from the January – April 2026 Mini Catalogue.

To accent the gold in the colour palette I am also using the Beautifully Adorned Ephemera Pack.

Another soon-to-be released product is the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. It creates an amazing texture on the gold foil.

The greeting was heat embossed using WOW Gold Embossing Powder.

The front of the card was embellished with coloured Antique Pearls. I couldn’t find my dark Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blend pen so I had to use the light – dark would have been better.

I repeated the use of the gold flower, from the Ephemera Pack, on the card insert and the back of the envelope.

I hope that you all join us for this #201 Challenge and enjoy a crafting holiday season.
