WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEDNESDAY IN THE WORLD OF STAMPIN’ UP!®

I am hoping that you are all enjoying your time flicking through the new annual catalogue and OnLine exclusives. There are so many amazing new products for you to chose from.

There aren’t many updates from Stampin’ Up!® this week.

If you have found the new 1-7/8″ (4.8 CM) CIRCLE PUNCH, you will need to be patient because it is not yet available. I am very keen to order one, so as soon as I know this punch can be ordered I will let you know.

Today’s project is another butterfly and bokeh DSP inspired birthday card.

After preparing the Basic White card base, I cut a panel of the yellow-blue bokeh DSP and adhered to the vase.

Then I took a panel of Balmy Blue card and embossed it using one of the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders – the embossing folder is the one on the left that looks like engraved glass.

After this panel was embossed, I wrapped a length of Balmy Blue Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Three Colour Pack. I added two more shorter lengths of the twine and then tied in a triple bow. The panel was lifted up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I used the two small detailed butterfly dies to cut many Baly Blue and Daffodil Delight bokeh butterflies.

I added them to the card front using Multipurpose Glue and Mini Dimensionals.

The greeting was stamped onto a piece of Basic White card and cut using one of the dies from the Beautiful Butterflies Dies.

I cut two more of these shapes and glued them behind the stamped panel to add some stability to the sentiment. Dimensionals were then placed behind sentiment panel and positioned on the card front.

A strip of the blue/yellow bokeh DSP was placed on the card insert. I

An extra die cut butterfly was added to the back of the envelope.

Finally, I coloured some of the Iridecent Faceted Gems using the dark Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends pen.

Tomorrow I have a 3D butterfly gift box to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

HELLO FUN FOLD FRIDAY

My Fun Fold card today is a SIDE STEP CARD and it has been quite a while since I last made one.

I am continuing with my Mother’s Day theme this week and have decided to feature the Celebratory Sips Suite Collection.

The Side Step card base was made using one of the new 2025-2027 In Colours, Timid Tiger.

I also used some of the Cloud Cover and Secret Sea cardstock.

After adding the card and DSP panels, I added Adhesive Sheet to some Timid Tiger card and cut ‘mum’ using the Mini Alphabet Dies.

I enjoyed fussy cutting all the colourful drinks and layering them across the side step card.

The ‘cheers’ greeting was stamped and cut using one of the banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

The card insert and back of the envelope were both decorated with a fussy cut drink.

This soon to be released collection of products is going to be so much fun to create with.

The final touch was to add some of the Crushed Curry Adhesive-backed Dots for Days.

Next week I will have more inspiration to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

THURSDAY & THAT MEANS IT IS TIME FOR A 3D PROJECT FOR MOTHER’S DAY

I found two delightful soaps that I wanted to create gift boxes for, for Mother’s Day. One has a sweet, berry aroma and the other a mango and passionfruit scent.

I created two boxes measuring 3″x 3″x 1 1/4″. One was made in Crushed Curry and the other in Strawverry Slush.

The top of each box had a square panel of the floral paper, from the Celebratory Sips 12″x 12″ DSP pack, attached to it.

I cut several flowers and leaves to decorate the top of each box. The flowers came from the Country Flowers Dies and the leaves came from the Thankful Garden Dies.

The greetings were stamped in coordinating colours before being cut using one of the squares from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

These greetings were then attached to the lid with Stampn’ Dimensionals.

And, finally, tomorrow I have another Fun Fold card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
