RINGS WITH NATURE BUNDLE PROJECT

For today’s project I decided to team the Ringed with Nature Bundle with the FREE Rings of Love Designer Series Paper from the 2022 July – August Sale-a-bration Brochure.

The bundle comprises the Ringed with Nature Stamp Set and the coordinating Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder and Tree Rings Dies.

RINGED WITH NATURE BUNDLE (ENGLISH)

The Designer Series Paper is gorgeous – full of wonderful Autumn colours. I decided to do lots and lots of fussy cutting for this card so that I could create a scene.

I fussy cut the leaves and acorns from around the outer edges of the DSP to adhere to the sides of the Basic White panel. One full leaves and acorns bunch was cut to add to the card as well.

I embossed and cut several crosscut timber sections using the hybrid embossing folder and dies. These were layered and popped up across the bottom of white panel.

Then I adhered the many multicoloured mushrooms I had fussy cut.

The sentiment was stamped in Crushed Curry before being trimmed down to a smaller rectangle. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals behind the sentiment and popped it up on the card front.

The acorns and mushroom tops were painted with some Clear Wink of Stellar to make them sparkle. The last thing I did was tie a small bow using some Linen Thread.

The colours in the Designer Series Paper collection are just amazing. I love the leaves and the mushrooms.

Ever since Stampin’ Up!® introduced their Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies, I have loved using them to create perfectly embossed and cut project elements.

Tomorrow I will have a Colour INKspiration Challenge project to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping.

WATER COLOUR WASHED WOOLLENS

The cardigan image in the Forever Friendship Stamp Set is so cute. I decided to use my Water Painters to colour the background and the cardigans with three of the new 2022 -2024 In Colours – Parakeet Party, Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet.

I love the play on words in the sentiment!

The water colour wash across the background looks great with all the variation in tones. For the water colouring I used Shimmery White card stock.

Before placing the coloured panel on the card base, I cut two scalloped pieces using the Penned Flowers Dies and adhered them to each side. Then I glued it down.

I stamped three cardigans, using StazOn ink, and then coloured each of them. With water colouring I was able to give each cardigan areas of light and dark, as well as a much darker trim.

My Dark Basic Black Blends pen was perfect for featuring the buttons.

After some fussy cutting, the cardigans were popped up on the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in each of the three colours then I trimmed them down using one of Celebrations Tag Dies. I like it when I can use a label die, like this one, and I can shorten or lengthen the cut.

To finish the card, I stamped the cardigan in Starry Sky inside the card and on the envelope. Then I added some of the 2022 2024 IN Colour Matte Decorative Dots.

These are most of the products I used to make this card.

I’m not sure what I will share tomorrow – it will be a surprise, both to me and you.

Until then, happy stamping.

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT SKETCH CHALLENGE #GDP354

This week’s Global Design Project is a Sketch Challenge and this sketch is open to so many interpretations.

One tag – that’s it! There are so many different things that could be done using this sketch.

I knew immediately that I would use the Tailor Made Tags Dies for my project – but how? One tag? More tags?

The first thing I decided was to make a birthday card.

Then I decided to take the Perfectly Penciled 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper and cut several tags from a range of paper designs.

I used a range of Stampin’ Blends to colour the flowers and leaves on each of the DSP designs.

After the floral tags were coloured, I attached each tag to a larger Basic Black tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The black tags were then adhered to a slimline card.

I used the Alphabest Stamp Set and coordinating Best Label to create the ‘happy’. Each of the punched letters were attached to the floral tags using dimensionals.

The ‘birthday’, from the Lovely & Lasting Stamp Set, was partially stamped using Parakeet Party. The cardstock was trimmed down and positioned under one of the tags using dimensionals.

To finish the card I added several gold sequins, from the Adhesive-backed Seasonal Sequins pack, to the card front.

I hope that you pop along to the Global Design Project blog to see what their Design Team created using the same sketch. Click below, to head over to see all the projects.

I enjoyed colouring each of the flowers in a variety of colours.

I’m not sure what tomorrow’s project will be – it will be a surprise for me and you.

Until then, happy stamping.
