FRIDAY IS THE DAY FOR FUN FOLD CARDS

Today I have a super, simple pop-up card to share with you.

Like many of this week’s projects, this card has a Basic Black base and gold foil and Basic Black panels.

I transferred the gold ‘mesh’ design from the Metallic Textures Rub-ons to a piece of Basic Black card. Then I used one of the squares, from the Stylish Shapes Dies, to cut it out.

Then I cut a gold foil square using the next largest square die. These two squares were then layered up with dimensionals and then popped up on the card front.

The greeting was made using the Sweet Blooms Dies. I attached Adhesive Sheet to the back of both the gold foil and black card so that I could layer them effectively.

I attached another of the black squares on the back of the envelope.

I transferred the gold feather/branch to the card insert.

The pop-up mechanism was so easy to make. After attaching the mechanism inside the card, I added the third black square with the gold ‘mesh’ transfer.

I’m not sure what I am planning for next week as yet but I will be back next Monday to start the week creatively.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.

3D THURSDAY HAS COME AROUND AGAIN!

I do enjoy creating 3D projects.

For this project I wanted to use some of the gold foil oval shapes, from the Impressions Abloom Dies, on the sides.

I created a triangular gift box using Basic Black card.

It is always fun to do ‘the math’ and create a base and lid for a triangular box and get it right!

I used the Impressions Abloom Dies to cut the gold and black flowers and leaves to decorate the box.

You just be able to see the gold lines on the top of the lid. I transferred this design from the Metallic Textures Rub-ons.

The box was finished when I tied a multiple bow using the Gold Twisted Thread. I attached it to the lid using a Mini Glue Dot.

Tomorrow I have a super simple, pop-up card to share with you.

Until then, happy stamping and scrapbooking.
