ANOTHER ROUND OF GOLF

After using one of my husband’s battered golf balls for the photo of my card yesterday, I thought I should buy him so new ones.

I thought I should present them in a gift box. So, here is today’s project.

It’s not his birthday yet but I wanted to use the one of the sentiments from the CLUBHOUSE STAMP SET and the coordinating GOLF CLUB DIES.

**The golf balls are certainly cleaner!**

The COUNTRY CLUB DSP was perfect for making the gift box top for this project.

The LABEL ME FANCY PUNCH was just I needed to punch the holes into the end of each of the banners for the sentiment.

This was a fun project to make and would be great for birthdays, Father’s Day or other masculine occasions.

I hope this inspires you to create a gift box yourself.

POPPY GIFT BOX

I imagine this could make a perfect box for a graduation gift.

It has been a long time since I’ve used the Parcels and Petals Bundle (AC p.27) … so, out it came to be combined with the Peaceful Moments Bundle.

I wanted to use some of the So Very Vellum for the floral accents and belly band … a subtle and elegant combination of colours – purple posy and soft sea foam.

Some simple stamping on the box and tag; followed by building the flowers and wrapping the belly band.

Put it all together … the end result.

TIMELESS TULIPS EASTER TREAT BOX

Something different today … a very simple treat box to hold a Kit Kat Bunny for Easter.

The TIMELESS TULIPS BUNDLE coordinates with the PLEASED AS PUNCH DSP from the Coordination Product Release.

The Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp set has seven sentiments for seven different occasions, ranging from get well soon, Happy Mother’s Day through to happy birthday.

Because I found the Kit Kat Easter themed chocolate, I decided to use the Easter sentiment from the stamp set.

This sentiment is perfect for those of you in the Northern Hemisphere because it reads “Happy Easter, Happy Spring happy, happy everything” … and south of the equator, we will hopefully be enjoying the cooler weather of Autumn at Easter.

“Happy Easter, Happy Fall happy times for you all”. That would work if only we referred to Autumn as Fall … oh, well.

I may make treats for Easter using a “For You” sentiment instead, but I hope you like this project.

I used a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock cut to 6.25″ x 7″ and scored it at: 2,3,5 and 6 on the shorter side and at 5″ and also at 6″ in two panels on the longer side. There are three panels to cut away.
