IT’S ALMOST TIME … OCCASIONS & SALE-A-BRATION CATALOGUES … YOUR TURN from 5th JANUARY

I hope that everyone has enjoyed a wonderful start to 2016!

While I have been very fortunate to already have the opportunity to pre-order and play with many of the amazing new products in the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogues, it is almost YOUR TURN.

This card uses the Rose Wonder Stamp Set and Rose Garden Thinlits Dies (just to prove that I am not totally fixated on the Botanical Blooms bundle).

… there is nothing too fussy about this card … a stamped sentiment, die cut elements glued using the brilliant fine-tip glue pen, three colour elements and a bit of bling. I do like clean and simple cards.

My other project, this evening, has been a birthday card for my niece … to be posted after she receives it … I am very pleased with how it has turned out … it links really nicely with her gift.

Enjoy the early days of 2016 and craft like crazy!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR …

As 2015 draws to an end, I think about all the amazing things I have experienced, learned and shared with great satisfaction … all in all, I think my life is fantastic!

So … according to my watch, I have about 90 minutes before 2016 arrives as our new year … and I am ready to embrace it with gusto … I know what goals I want to achieve in 2016 and am excited to work for them to come to fruition, especially my creative goals!

… and so it is time to say farewell to 2015 and “hello 2016“.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Thank you to everyone, from around the world, who has popped in to look at my blog.

I wish each and everyone of you a spectacularly brilliant 2016 filled with joy, love, friendship and success.

Hoping that 2016 brings greater peace and safety than so many experienced in 2015.

… INSPIRE … CREATE … SHARE …

… imagine what could be achieved if every person could fulfill one of these affirmations, in some small way, throughout 2016 …

HELLO 2016

… bring it on …

ANOTHER SNEAK PEEK

I have been having so much creative fun playing with more of the new products from the upcoming Occasions Catalogue …

IMG_1244

This first card highlights the Birthday Bouquet DSP …. I have fussy cut one of the floral bouquets and mounted it onto a background made using the Brushstrokes stamp and with a sentiment from the Cottage Greetings stamp set … I love the versatility of all of the Stampin’ Up! products – ‘very mixy matchy’ as my daughter would say.

I have not used the Birthday Blooms stamp set yet because I somehow managed to order it, and three stamp sets from the Sale-a-bration catalogue, in wood mount. Stampin’ Up! is arranging to exchange these for me – how amazing is that!

This second card features two other designs from the Birthday Bouquet DSP … there are 12 different designs in total.

The sentiment and banner are from another bundle featured in the new Occasions Catalogue … Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden thinlits dies.

The Rose Garden thinlits also include two roses that I have used in the next, more boldly coloured, card.

The sentiments are from the Rose Wonder stamp set … the Wishes greeting actually says Wedding Wishes but a sticky note makes an effective mask.

Now I have to confess that when I first saw one of the amazing new tools in the Occasions Catalogue I was not convinced it would be useful – I have happily used my paper piercer to poke out all the little bits from our detailed thinlits dies ,,, then I watched a clip showing how it worked, ordered one and am SOLD! Wait until you get to see the Big Shot Die Brush in action at my Occasions Catalogue Launch.

Time to get back to my craft room!
