Very early in my time as a demonstrator, Stampin’ Up!® had a colour refresh. It was exciting to see which older colours retired and which new ones joined the Colour Families.
Now. five years later, there is a Colour Revamp! This involves a few more colour changes than usual … but it is so exciting to see what we can look forward to.
THE DETAILS
There are still four colour ‘family’ collections, each with ten colours. There is also a new colour group called Basics.
In order to keep the colour family collections exclusive Stampin’ Up! colours; Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Whisper White have been moved out of the Neutrals collection. A few colours have been moved into the Neutrals collection, making it more exciting and colourful!
Some additional colours have changed collections as well—you’ll notice this as you look through the new collections below. You can refer to the old and new colour charts in the 2018-2019 catalogue. These changes were based on needing to maintain colour balance in the Stampin’ Up! updated collections. For example, Poppy Parade is now the brightest red so it is part of the Brights collection.
Here are the colours that will be available from June 1, 2018:
RETIRING COLOURS:
On 31 May 2018, thirteen colours are retiring.

- Pink Pirouette
- Rose Red
- Soft Sky
- Tangerine Tango
- Tempting Turquoise
- Wild Wasabi
- Wisteria Wonder
The retiring 2016-2018 In Colors are:
- Dapper Denim
- Emerald Envy
- Flirty Flamingo*
- Peekaboo Peach
- Sweet Sugar Plum
*Please note that while Flirty Flamingo is retiring as an In Color, it will continue to be available as part of the core colour collection.
