WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

Nothing yet!

I wanted to make a gift box to go with the card I shared yesterday.

Although it won’t fit the Dr Seuss book it will hold lots of treats to enjoy while reading lots of books.

The WHALE OF A TIME 6″X 6″ DESIGNER SERIES PAPER is so, so cute.

This box has a top and bottom using the swimming fish paper. The combination of colours in this paper are so vibrant.

The finished dimensions are 3″x 3″x 4″.

One of the things that I love about Stampin’ Up!® products is the way they coordinate. I was able to use the resin dots and ribbon combo from the PLAYING WITH PATTERNS SUITE with the WHALE OF A TIME DSP.

What do you like the most about Stampin’ Up! products? Leave me a comment and let me know.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this gift box. If you LIVE IN AUSTRALIA, you can order any of these products through me.

DR SEUSS

I couldn’t help but make this card!

After I made a card for my brother’s birthday using the new FOAM ADHESIVE SHEETS and the PLAYFUL ALPHABET DIES, I knew that this would be a new project.

Inspired by all the cute and colourful fish swimming around on this WHALE OF A TIME DSP, I borrowed from Dr Seuss.

This birthday card was so much fun to make.

I also like to use a different colour card stock for the words – it makes the brain work a little bit harder.

And, I think that this would be the perfect gift to go with the card.

BIRTHDAY TIME

You can never have too many birthday cards on hand!

The HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS STAMP SET is quickly becoming my ‘go to’ set for birthday cards.

The four, very different, greetings are perfect.

I will be able to make one for my sister using the HAPPY (little-bit-late) BIRTHDAY stamp, because I am always late sending her a card and gift!

The greeting I used for this card is perfect for a big background, whether it be a piece of DSP or, in this case, the STACKED STONE BACKGROUND STAMP.

To soften the stone image I stamped and coloured a flower from the PRIZED PEONY STAMP SET.

I tucked a piece from one of the SQUARE VELLUM DOILIES under the greeting.

To finish, I added some ELEGANT FACETED GEMS and some CLEAR WINK OF STELLA.

I’m very happy with this card. What do you think?

Just to see how many people read everything – leave me a (non spam) comment and will choose someone to send it to!
