mmm...Stampin' Time

Happy Birthday!

I made this colourful birthday card using the HOORAY TO YOU STAMP SET that is in the Beginner Catalogue. There are great products in this catalogue and they are perfect for all stampers.

I coloured the balloon by inking up an acrylic block using Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin’ Pads on each third.

Using the same colours, and adding in Pacific Point, I stamped a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock to create a background layer.

The rhinestones were coloured to coordinate, using Stampin’ Blends.

I can’t wait to send this someone special soon.

There aren’t too many areas in Brisbane where I can see all the gorgeous Autumnal trees that I have seen in other parts of the world.

The LOVE OF LEAVES STAMP SET and coordinating STITCHED LEAVES DIES made it easy for me to see those leaves today.

I added a few of the Mango Melody ARTISTRY BLOOMS SEQUINS for a touch of bling.

The sentiment I stamped, inside the card, is going to be used a lot – it’s a lovely thought to send to someone special you haven’t seen in a while.

There is an amazing new bundle of card stock that can be ordered from August 4th.

The BRUSHED METALLIC CARD STOCK is collection of 12″x 12″ metallic paper in BRONZE, COPPER and GOLD. There are two of each in the bundle.

I decided to use this card stock with the STITCHED TRIANGLE DIES.

This is the second card I have made, in as many days, using a Basic Black card base. I think the black is a perfect background for these triangles.

I knew that I wanted to use the Thank You from the ORNATE THANKS STAMP SET for this card. I was so pleased by how well the heat embossed sentiment looks on the metallic card stock.

I used a soon to be available punch for the sentiment banner – BANNER PICK A PUNCH. It is in the August through December Mini Catalogue (Holiday Catalogue) which will go live to customers on August 4th.

I popped a few of the triangles up using dimensionals.

This is definitely a card for grown ups and it is not gender specific. I think it would go well with an elegant gift that has similar metallic/black colouring.

There are so many creative possibilities with these triangle dies.
