mmm...Stampin' Time

Today, I have another wedding card to share.

This time I paired products from the LOVE YOU ALWAYS SUITE, from the JANUARY – JUNE 2021 MINI CATALOGUE, with the LAST A LIFETIME STAMP SET from the 2020 – 2021 ANNUAL CATALOGUE.

I used the Rococo Rose sheet of LOVE YOU ALWAYS SPECIALTY DSP. It appears that I am beginning to ‘enjoy’ fussy cutting – I cut out several of the flowers from the DSP to position them on the card front, card insert and envelope front.

The three larger flowers has a dimensional popped on the back and then placed in a matching position. They look great with the added height.

The stitched, scallop rectangle die from the STITCHED SO SWEETLY DIES set frames the sentiment beautifully.

Another wedding card to add to the market collection.

Hello and welcome. I hope you have been visiting me, here, and enjoy the projects that I share. If you are new, welcome – I hope you like what you see.

Today’s wedding card is timed perfectly for a blog hop I’m participating in. The theme for this week is MAKE IT SHIMMER.

I did two things to ensure the card shimmers. The first was to use the new PEARLESCENT SPECIALTY PAPER.

For the second, I used my STAMPARATUS to stamp the greeting in Blushing Bride. After cleaning the stamp, I stamped again Versamark so that I could sprinkle clear embossing powder and heat it.This gives the sentiment a similar sheen.

This new specialty paper is stunning. After running the paper through the STAMPIN’ CUT & EMBOSS MACHINE ans OLD WORLD PAPER 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER, I think the background paper looks like ivory crushed silk taffeta – a perfect look for a wedding card.

A touch of lace and a bouquet finish the card.

Hello to those of you who pop by to check out what I’m up to – I’m pleased that you do!

Some of you may have seen that I was a vendor at local weekend market and twilight market in early December. It was a wonderful opportunity to let local residents know about what I offer in terms of classes, events and market card and papercraft products.

After the market events, I made a shortlist of card genres that I needed more of. With this information, I was able to start making cards in these areas. Firstly, I made a bundle of gender neutral/more masculine thank you cards – I had no shortage of floral/feminine cards. Next, I created more cards to congratulate new parents.

Today, I started working on the next category of cards I needed to enhance – WEDDING CARDS. I have made quite a few and will post them over the next few days. This is the first card I made.

The LOVE YOU ALWAYS SUITE is perfect for this category. For this card, I chose the Sahara Sand sheet from the LOVE YOU ALWAYS SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER.

I adhered the DSP layer onto a Sahara Sand card base.

For the ALWAYS base and DAINTY DIAMOND 3D embossed strip, under the FOREVER & sentiment, I used some of the PEARLESCENT SPECIALTY PAPER. I am definitely going to be ordering lots more of the Pearescent Specialty Paper – it is so sumptuous.

‘FOREVER &’, stamped in Sahara Sand on Sahara Sand looks great, but looks even better when it is cut using one of the coordinating dies.

I was so very pleased by how well the BEADED PEARLS looked on the card front.

I stamped ‘congratulations’ onto the card insert and it is from the 2020 – 2021 ANNUAL CATALOGUE stamp set LAST A LIFETIME.

I adhered a strip of DAINTY DIAMOND 3D embossed PEARLESCENT SPECIALTY PAPER onto the envelope front.

While I haven’t been to a wedding recently, I think that this card would be perfect of a guest of my age to attach to a gift.
