BIRD PUZZLE

I have been thinking of jigsaws, although we don’t have any. After we downsized, for our move to Brisbane last year, they were one of the items donated to a local charity.

So, I made my own 16 piece puzzle.

I stamped and water coloured my image using the FREE AS A BIRD stamp set, before dusting off my PUZZLE PIECES DIES and, hey presto, one jigsaw puzzle.

I love my messy water colouring.

The background flower was stamped using the Smoky Slate Classic Stampin’ Pad – but I stamped off first.

I had a relaxing time making this card, especially the water colouring.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping … and water colouring!

These are the products I used to make this card.

MOTHER’S DAY – A MONTH AWAY

It’s time to start preparing for Mother’s Day. This year, in Australia, we celebrate our mums on the 10th May.

This is a little gift box that holds a strawberry Revlon Kiss.

The BEST DRESSED SUITE is perfect for any Mother’s Day project. I used Melon Mambo rather than Lovely Lipstick to tie the colour of the lip balm into the project.

Using the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker and Wink of Stella allowed me to emphasise one side of the lipstick die cut.

What will you make for Mother’s Day?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this project. If you live in Australia, you can order any of them through me.

COLOURING TIME

While everyone is home over Easter, and many of us will be staying in well after this weekend, I’m sure parents are thinking of lots of activities to keep their children active.

Kids love presents – so this project takes a packet of crayons and turns it into a special treat.

This flip top gift box is decorated the FOLLOW YOUR ART DSP and has a belly band with more of the products from the SUITE .

This project was lots of fun to make and I’m looking forward to sending it to a friend with young grandchildren, for them to create with.

It is easy to turn something into a special gift – it’s all in the packaging!

What do you think?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

The products I used to make this gift box are listed below.
