TIME FOR SOME TASTEFUL TOUCHES

The IN GOOD TASTE SUITE is stunning. I am especially taken by the Designer Series Paper.

I know there are going to be so many creative opportunities with this collection.

This Night of Navy and Whisper White DSP is my favourite – I think.

I used the .5″ Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon from the FLOWERS FOR EVERY SEASON RIBBON COMBO and coloured it with my Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend.

I also used the sequins stamp from the COMFORT AND HOPE STAMP SET and then popped a few of the clear ELEGANT FACETED GEMS over some of them.

What do you think? What is your favourite design from this DSP?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this project. If you live in Australia, you can order any of them through me.

PHOTO SHOOT AT LAST

Phew … I have finally caught up on photographing my recent projects, six in total. That’s the next few posts sorted.

I thought that I would firstly share some photos of my newly set up crafting space and how I set up for taking photos.

This is my new desk and storage shelves. The table can be folded down and the bookcase turned around to reveal a queen bed – the best Murphy bed.

And, like so many of you, I have just put together my new storage unit. I have ordered some custom built inserts for card stock and DSP.

My ‘studio’ is very simple. I use two restaurant table numbers to hold up a length of wallpaper. The curved edge creates an endless background – a trick I learnt from my father, who was a professional photographer.

So, let me show you the fragrant soap gift box I made.

Yesterday, I started working on my first video tutorial for a soon to be shared Youtube channel. This was the project I made. Once I have done some editing (as soon as I learn to do so) it will be uploaded and I’ll let you know when.

I am totally loving the FLOWERS FOR EVERY SEASON 6″x 6″ DSP and it’s variety. For this project I chose the Christmas seasonal paper. I guess that I will have to tuck this away until Christmas.

I like to pop a gift box with a lovely soap onto the bed when we have guests.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping (and gift box making).

TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES TODAY

It has only been five weeks since I have started posting a Facebook Live every Wednesday. During that time there have been some technical and skills issues and each week I seem to resolve them.

Today all seemed to be going well and when I finished I waited for the replay – and then I discovered there was no audio and some of the footage was on fast forward.

Okay – another problem solving opportunity!

Yesterday, I recorded my first video tutorial to edit and then upload to my very new You Tube Channel.

And, guess what – there was no audio!

So today, after my audio issues, I worked on fixing it. And, I think I have sorted it!

Because I was trying to work through these tech issues, I didn’t have time to photograph my recent projects. So I will share the remaining Stampin’ Up!® project videos.

Here’s the next project using the Simply Citrus All-Inclusive Card Kit. Just click on the image.
