It may be summer in the Northern Hemisphere but it is a little cooler south of the equator.

Well, it’s actually very mild here in Queensland, but colder further south.

The SUMMER DAYS STAMP SET is all about gorgeous green trees, balmy blue skies and kite flying (or reading a book under a tree).

I loved water colouring this image!

Any young boy, wearing a yellow cap, flies his kite looking for adventure during the summer months. It is wonderful how our stamps can help to represent a story like this.

This card is all about playing with the PLAYING WITH PATTERNS DSP and the STITCHED RECTANGLES DIES.

Lots and lots of colourful fun!

I like the symmetry of the triangles and that they look a bit like party hats.

The clear epoxy droplets were coloured using the STAMPIN’ BLENDS to coordinate with the bright and cheerful paper.

I have made this card for the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge – #81. The colours are perfect for a Christmas card.

This is my interpretation of the Twelve Days of Christmas – the first day – my partridge in a pear tree.

The ARRANGE A WREATH BUNDLE was perfect to create this Christmas wreath. The greeting comes from PEACEFUL BOUGHS STAMP SET.

I die cut layers using vellum and some of the CINNAMON CIDER card stock.

The pears were stamped off to give lighter shades of the Cinnamon Cider.

It was easy to add pops of colour to the wreath using the Stampin’ Blends.

Christmas card #1 done and dusted!
