After I made the LUCKY YOU card, that I posted yesterday, I decided to design a card using all the colours in the COLOUR VELVETEEN PAPER PACK – Cinnamon Cider, Highland Heather and Soft Sea Foam.

This is not my usual colour palette but it’s always good to challenge yourself and definitely a different style of card for me.

I decided to use the BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN STAMP SET and coordinating AUTUMN PUNCH PACK for this card.

I punched out lots and lots of the mini punch shapes – leaves and acorn.

The wreath was created by adhering the shapes onto a quarter inch circular piece of card stock I made using the LAYERING CIRCLES DIES.

I had so many punched shapes I decided to layer them to create some height on the card front.

As I mentioned earlier, this is not my preferred colour combination or style – so, I’m still deciding if I like the finished card. I need to put it to one side and look again later.

Hmmm … undecided.

Many of you will know that I’m not an eager fussy cutter but when I was thinking about the design for this card, I knew that I wanted to grab my paper snips and start cutting.

The GAME ON STAMP SET is a great set for masculine cards. This card would be perfect for Valentine’s Day.

This is the first time I have used a sheet from the COLOUR VELVETEEN PAPER, from the Annual Catalogue. The texture is so soft and luxurious.

I stamped the cards in CINNAMON CIDER to match the velveteen paper.

The texture was created using the OLD WORLD PAPER EMBOSSING FOLDER.

I’m so pleased with the way this card turned out. Woo hoo!

The BOHO INDIGO PRODUCT MEDLEY is amazing!

All of these coordinating goodies for you to create with.

My first project is an easel card.

The ESSENTIAL TAG PUNCH is perfect to create these DSP panels.

There are panels of Very Vanilla cardstock on the back of the card for birthday wishes.

The small PAPER FLOWERS fit perfectly over the stamped floral image.

I used one of the WRAPPED IN TEXTURE EMBOSSING FOLDERS to give the die cut vases some texture – and, I added two vellum die cut stems to the larger vase.

Hmmm … I’m very happy with this card. Time to start thinking about another project for this medley.

I really like that when I want to, I can order a REFILL KIT to make more projects.
