DEMONSTRATOR TRAINING BLOG HOP

So, 2020 has been a rough one but that doesn’t mean we can’t continue to plan for an amazing future. I have some very specific goals I want to achieve, over the next 12 months, in my business. To help me achieve them I recently enrolled in a Demonstrator Support Program run by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci.

I have participated in a small number of blog hops and have set as one of my goals to participate in more of them AND regularly. This is the first!

It may seem strange that this is a 2020-2021 program but the Stampin’ Up!® year begins on October 1.

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Training Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin’ Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog – either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

I wanted to share my customer Thank You cards, I have I created for October, in this hop. It features the Ornate Thanks and Ornate Style stamp sets.

I made the card base using half a sheet of Terracotta Tile A4 cardstock. The floral layer is 4″x 5 5/8″ and comes from the Ornate Gardens Specialty DSP. Inside the card is a layer of Whisper White cardstock that has one of the floral stamps from the Ornate Style Stamp Set, again in Terracotta Tile. The Thank You sentiment is from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set. I stamped it using Terracotta Tile Classic Stampin’ Pad onto Whisper White cardstock and then cut it using one of the Ornate Layers Dies. The sentiment is popped up using dimensionals to give the card some height. For the finishing touch, I adhered some bling from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment.

I really like how they turned out!

Thank you so much for coming by today! We have an amazing line up of Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators from around the world that are working hard to learn how to be even more successful. We know you are going to love all the amazing projects that you are going to see today, make sure you show them some love so they keep creating and sharing fantastic ideas for us all.

A GIFT OF WINE THIS CHRISTMAS

This wine bottle gift box was made to hold a full sized wine bottle, just in time for Christmas.

FRONT ON IMAGE

Yes, it will hold a full sized bottle of wine.

I used SHADED SPRUCE 12″x 12″ CARDSTOCK, as well as the stunning PLUSH POINSETTIA SPECIALTY PAPER and the RED VELVET PAPER PACK.

AT A SLIGHT ANGLE, WITH LID OFF

I used Real Red and Shaded Spruce as my main colours, with the white from the flocked poinsettia paper and sentiments STITCHED SO LOVELY DIES elements (even though they look like Very Vanilla in this image).

This image shows the wine box from a slightly different angle, with the decorated lid off and to the side.

This photo shows the wine gift box from another angle – looking down from the lid.

And, finally a close up of the poinsettia details on the front of the gift box.

Who would you gift box a bottle of wine for Christmas – friend, work colleague, neighbour or family member?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

The card I shared yesterday used some Designer Series Paper from the FLOWERS FOR EVERY SEASON pack. For today’s card I chose another piece of paper from that pack – this time, the Christmas inspired poinsettia one.

I wanted to create a clean and structured look for this card.

Three panels were cut using one of my favourite die sets, the STITCHED RECTANGLES DIES. I spaced them evenly and popped them up on dimensionals. There was just the right amount of space for two lengths of JUST JADE 1/4″ RIBBON, with a bow tied into each piece.

The WORD WISHES DIES gave me the Merry Christmas I wanted. I cut each word three times using Poppy Parade cardstock with ADHESIVE SHEETS attached. This allowed me to layer the two words and create some lovely dimension.

Lots of RED RHINESTONE BASIC JEWELS added all the bling I wanted.

I added strips of the DSP to the inside of the card and the envelope.

The use of just few colours is one of my favourite approaches to card making – Just Jade, Poppy Parade and Whisper White for this project.

Happy stamper … happy stamping.
