OH, SO PRETTY

Hello to my paper crafting friends. Thanks for popping by.

I spent yesterday enjoying the FINE ART FLORAL SUITE and it is OH, SO PRETTY! What do you think?

FINE ART FLORAL SUITE COLLECTION

The FINE ART FLORAL DESIGNER SERIES PAPER is stunning. I would love to see the painted canvases that were created for this DSP. When you look at the DSP you want to touch it because it looks like the texture is real. And, the colours are great as well.

FINE ART FLORAL SUITE COLLECTION

For my first card I used the PAINTED TEXTURE 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER, some of the DSP (look above – third from the right, bottom row) and the ‘just want to say’ dies from the FLORAL GALLERY DIES.

FINE ART FLORAL SUITE COLLECTION

I used the ENJOY THE MOMENT STAMP SET for the image and the ART GALLERY STAMP SET for the sentiment.

Oops, one the ELEGANT FACETED GEMS has fallen off my card.

Before I cut the ‘just want to say’ I placed ADHESIVE SHEETS behind the DSP, making it easy to place the words onto the STITCHED RECTANGLE piece of vellum. Then, I used cut pieces of dimensionals to position behind most of the letters so the vellum could by raised above the textured card stock.

I placed a strip of one of the SQUARE VELLUM DOILIES under the left hand side of the stamped image. I added colour directly, in small sections, onto the stamp using Stampin’ Write Markers™ and my Stamparatus.

The two dies that cut the ‘banner’ are awesome. I love the shape – they have a postage stamp edge.

Happy stamping.

BIRTHDAY SUIT

I laughed out loud when I chose this post title – please feel safe – there is nobody in their birthdday suit here.

The WELL SUITED SUITE is a wonderful collection of products for all the masculine cards and projects you want to make.

The stamp set – HANDSOMELY SUITED – and coordinating SUIT & TIE DIES will help you create such a wide variety of projects for the men in your life.

The WELL SUITED DESIGNER SERIES PAPER is the perfect match.

For this card, I chose a gray palette. And, I chose to use a pinstripe with a paisley. Such a well dressed card.

I think that I will replace the RHINESTONE BASIC JEWEL, on the tie bar, with a black embellishment – yet to decide.

Loving the totally cute, teeny-tiny 6 buttons that I can now die cut.

This card will be ideal for lots of different masculine occasions – birthday, congratulations (promotion, engagement, graduation etc) and many more occasions worthy of a classy suit card.

I am going to keep this card for my brother’s birthday, later in the year – he will be 51. He dresses well for his bank management job and I think he is quite a class act!

Who would you give a card like this to?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.
