Hello! Welcome to a new post, using another new product suite.

I have already made some projects using the HYDRANGEA HILL SUITE but it is time to make some more.

This project starts with one of the LOVE YOU ALWAYS TREAT BOXES from the LOVE YOU ALWAYS SUITE.

I chose this piece of paper, from the HYDRANGEA HILL DESIGNER SERIES PAPER pack, to wrap around the gift box.

I made a 1-1/2″/4cm belly band, in Rococo Rose.

The sweet sentiment is from the HYDRANGEA HAVEN STAMP SETand it is stamped in the same colour as the belly band. The new PASTEL PEARLS are stunning. They come in four colours – Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray.

To finish off the card, I fussy cut one of the floral bouquets from another sheet pf DSP and adhered it to the belly band.

These gift boxes are fantastic. I can definitely see myself making many more for those special occasions.

I found a supplier of hydrangea seeds in Australia. I think that I will order some and pop them in this gift box to give to someone who loves gardening.

As promised, I have moved on from wedding cards!

The latest products, on my desk to create with, are the SIMPLY SUCCULENTS BUNDLE and the FLOWERING CACTUS PRODUCT MEDLEY.

I wanted to use both of these new products in conjunction with each other.

The Designer Series Paper is from the FLOWERING CACTUS PRODUCT MEDLEY and the image and sentiment stamps are from the SIMPLY SUCCULENTS STAMP SET.

I used the masking technique to stamp the image. The succulents were stamped first and then the mask placed over it, before the pot was stamped.

The succulents were coloured using STAMPIN’ BLENDS and the pot was coloured with the Cajun Craze Water Colour Pencil from the WATERCOLOUR PENCILS ASSORTMENT 2 and blended it with a BLENDER PEN.

As you can see, I trimmed the left half of the stamped cardstock using a trimmer and fussy cut the right half. I wanted to soften the vertical lines of the DSP.

There are two new linen threads in this medley. I used the natural one for this card.

And, some CLEAR WINK OF STELLA finished the card.

Well, it’s been a week of wedding cards – I think five is enough for now. I’m looking forward to making something different tomorrow.

I’m staying with the LOVE YOU ALWAYS SPECIALTY DSP and FOIL SHEETS for this card, as well as the LAST A LIFETIME CARD SET. I like the name of that stamp set and I believe that a marriage can last a lifetime (we celebrated our 35th anniversary last year).

I die cut several flowers and layered them up to vary the height of the elements. You can see this just under the ‘Mrs’.

As I did on some of the earlier cards, I heat embossed clear embossing powder over the stamped sentiment to add some shimmer.

I would love to know which of the five wedding cards you like the most.
