Once a month I prepare ‘Thank You’ cards to send to those of my customers who have placed an order. At the start of the following month I take these cards and add a personal message inside each of the cards, usually on a sticky note so that the card can be used by the recipient. For those customers who met the minimum purchase threshold, I also add a small thank you gift.

For my July customer thank you cards I have featured the Art In Bloom Bundle and one of the designs from the Stampin’ Rewards Pattern Party 12″x 12″ Designer Series Paper. The black and white design coordinates perfectly with the bundle I have chosen. This paper bundle is made up of 48 sheets – 4 each of 12 double-sided designs.

The first collection of cards feature one of the new 2021-2023 In Colours, Pale Papaya. The second collection of cards is bolder and brighter, with Gorgeous Grape the feature.

All the cards were made following the same sequence – cut the card base and DSP layer; wrap and secure a length of coordinating ribbon around the DSP layer (1-1/2″ from the ower edge); stamp and die cut the ‘thanks’; attach the ‘thanks’ using Stampin’ Dimensionals, as shown; emboss and die cut the three flowers using the new Hybrid Embossing Folder/Die product; gently ‘scrunch’ the flowers and attach them to the fornt of the card using more Dimensionals; stamp one of the flowers, in in the same colour, on the card insert and envelope; adhere the card insert inside the card; and finally, add embellishments.

If you have made more than one card, in the same design, you know that this sequence is done ‘assembly line style’ – cut six card bases, cut 12 pieces of DSP …

The reason I chose these two colours is easy to explain. I wanted to use these cards to share the features of some new products with my customers. There are two new stunning specialy papers in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue – Ombre Specialty Paper and 2021-2022 In Colour Shimmer Vellum. Both of these new paper products provide shimmer to projects.

For the Pale Papaya card I was also able to showcase the 2021-2022 In Colour Gems and Open Weave Ribbon.

The Gorgeous Grape card also allowed me to feature coordinating ribbons and the Pastel Pearls.

I am very pleased with the overall proportions and layout of the card. The majority of the card is arranged around the bottom left-hand side of the card.

And, these are many of the wonderful products I have used in my July customer thank you cards. My goal is to need to make many, many more thank you cards each month.

If you live in Australia and want to place an order for Stampin’ Up!® products, you might want to order through me if you would like to receive this kind of customer appreciation.

Make sure you see all the other great cards made for this blog hop.

Happy stamping.

PREVIEWING THE NEW

Hello my paper crafting friends. I am deloghted that you have taken the time to pop by.

Today I am going to share some gorgeous new products that are in the upcoming July – December 2021 Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-bration Brochure (3 August – 30 September 2021).

And they coordinate with current products in the Annual Catalogue!

The Sale-a-bration Brochure has four paper bundles, including an all black and white Beautifully Penned 12″x 12″ DSP. This bundle coordinates with the Hand Penned DSP. The six designs in the Beautifully Penned bundle are actually the same, uncoloured images from the Annual Catalogue bundle. So, I used a piece of the black and white waves to frame a piece of the coloured floral paper. T

I cut and punched three strips of card stock in Blusging Bride, Daffodil Delight and Misty Moonlight. I used the Banner Triple Punch. Then I used the new Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder to give texture to those banner pieces.

The Daffodil Delight banner piece was glued onto the DSP layers. Then I tied, trimmed and wrapped a length of the amazing new Blushing Bride Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon. I love this new ribbon. The other two banner pieces were popped up onto the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a square of the coloured waves DSP that was also embossed.

The birthday greeting is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set. I used strips of the coloured DSP to finish the card insert and envelope. Then I finished the card by adding some of the pink Elegant Faceted Gems.

I am just starting to play with all the new products I was able to preorder. So, I am looking forward to sharing projects using these new products.

What do you think? Who would you send this birthday card to?

Friday’s project will feature the same products but with a very different look.

Happy stamping.

Because some of the products I have used to make this card are not yet available to customers, I am not able to show them at this time. As soon as product images go live, I will create this section.

INSPIRED BY A KIT

Hello and welcome. Thanks for popping by to see today’s project.

I am about to restart my Coffee & Card classes at a local cafe. It has been a number of weeks since I postponed them for my surgery and recovery. I am so pleased that I now feel confident enough to walk to the class carrying our supplies.

This first get together will feature the Sentimental Rose Card Kit. I want to introduce these ladies to the new range of Stampin’ Up!® Card Kits and go back to some stamping basics. There are three cards for each participant to make.

In preparation for the class, I made three sample cards following the instructions in the kit.

Inspired by the cards in kits, I decided to take inspiration from them to create other cards. This is one way that I can show my beginning stampers future possibilities.

The first of these cards focuses on the So Saffron and Soft Succulent ‘Congratulations’ card.

My first step was to use one of the new Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks and a Blending Brush to create the pattern in So Saffron on So Saffron cardstock. Then I took a piece of Shimmery White cardstock to apply the two colours using a Water Painter to create a similar effect. I used the same coloured Stampin’ Blends to flick colour speckles oner the water colouring. This panel was secured on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the Sentimental Rose flower to stamp the image three times using So Saffron on Shimmery White cardstock. The three flowers were then fussy cut to achieve the three layers you can see on the card front. Each layer was gently scrunched and then layered together. The leaves were stamped using Soft Succulent ink, fussy cut and adhered to the back of one of the flowers. The second flower was trimmed along the right-hand edge. Both flowers were then adhered to the card front. Each flower then had some Clear Wink of Stella painted on the petals to add some gorgeous shimmer.

The birthday greeting was stamped and trimmed down before attachng it to the card front. As you know, if you have been following my posts, Istamped the rose on the card insert and envelope. Finally, I coloured some Pearl Basic Jewels using my dark Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blend.

I love the way that I can use different Stampin’ Up!® products in so many different projects. This makes my craftroom stash so versatile and great value!

This is a perfect birthday card for someone who loves flowers and yellow. Do you know someone like that?

Happy stamping.
