TODAY’S PROJECT IS ANOTHER FOLD OUT, POP UP CHRISTMAS CARD

The card today measures 6″x 3 1/8″ and has six internal fold out panels.

This card has a Balmy Blue exterior and White Willow interior and exterior panels.

For this card I used the Traditional Labels Bundle,North Pole Delivery Specialty DSP and Pop Up Petals Dies.

For the front of the card, I adhered a SDSP panel before securing three lengths of the Real Red & White Baker’s Twine.

The greeting was stamped in Pecan Pie and die cut. A Real Red banner was also die cut and trimmed before placing behind the greeting. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to give these layers dimension on the card front.

Then I added elements from the SDSP pack – two pre-cut Christmas shops and three fussy cut envelopes. Finally, I added some of the Real Red & White Peppermint embellishments.

Inside the card, I staggered the pop ups diagonally – the first is 1″ from the top of the white insert, the second/middle is 2 /8″ from the top, and the last was 1″ from the bottom.

The inernal panels were decorated with the DSP, pre cut elements and fussy cut envelopes.

On the back of the card I added two White Whisper panels, a DSP gift card pocket and some further pre cut elements.

There are so many more ways that I want to use the Pop Up Petals Bundle – but, I’ll save them for now.

Tomorrow I have a 3D project to share with you – I know that it isn’t 3D Thursday and should be Fun Fold Friday – but who cares!

Until then, happy stamping.

FRIDAY IS ALL ABOUT FUNFOLD CARDS

I’m not entirely sure what to call this card – if you have a name for it, please let me know.

After starting with a Basic White cardbase, I embossed a panel of Pool Party card, using the Damask Designs Embossing Folder, and adhered it to the base.

I cut a 9″x 4 1/4″ piece of Pool Party card and scored it at 3″ and 6″. This was then folded and burnished to create a z-fold.

Then I secured a length of White Ribbon behind the z-fold and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop it up on front of the card.

I used one of the Traditional Labels Dies to cut four Basic White shapes. These were then embossed with the same embossing folder and popped up on the card front and added inside the z-fold panel.

Using one of the Christmas Greenery Dies I cut four of the floral arrangements to use to decorate the card.

I added some of the Opal Rounds from the Assortment pack to the front of the card.

I stamped the greeting inside the z-fold area of the card.

These projects were fun to create – I hope you like them.

Next week I will have more fabulous projects to share with you.

Today I have another Christmas card to share with you.

It is hard to go past this sumptuous Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Traditions of Christmas Suite Collection.

I started with a Real Red card base and added a layer of gold Textured Metallic Specialty Paper. Then I adhered a panel of the DSP.

Two leaf fronds were cut from the gold Textured Metallic Specialty Paper and attached to the card. There was Adhesive Sheet on each frond.

The greeting was stamped in Secret Sea onto a panel of Real Red card. Then I cut a ribbon from the Adhesive Sheet-backed piece of gold foil and added it to the greeting panel.

I added a strip of the DSP to the card insert and the back of the envelope.

Tomorrow I have a lovely little Christmas box to share with you.

Until then happy stamping and scrapbooking.
