RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS

During this unusual time, many people are doing wonderful acts of kindness for others.

I have been finding little treats and making gift boxes, ready to give to some of those wonderful individuals.

There is a range of bathroom products, that I have found at Coles and Woolworths, branded THANK YOU. They are perfect.

Wow – this enlarged image tells me that I need to change my blade.

Has anyone experienced a random act of kindness recently?

I’m looking forward to paying it forward – to be #sendingsunshine

YOU MEAN SO MUCH TO ME

I know that I can always find a sentiment that I want to use from one of my stamp sets. For this card I found what I wanted in the FOREVER BLOSSOMS stamp set.

This card has clear heat embossed flowers on the Night of Navy card stock and a fussy cut stem of flowers coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

I also coloured some Pearl Basic Jewels with the Blends.

What do you think?

Night of Navy is one of my favourite colours and it coordinates with so many of the colours from the colour families.

What is your favourite colour?

JUST FOR YOU

I found a cute little Nivea Moisturising Cream travel tub when I was at the supermarket – perfect for a small treat for someone nice.

So, time to make another gift box.

This time I used the LABEL ME FANCY PUNCH to punch slots on opposite sides of the lid, for the ribbon to pass through.

I also used the punch for the tag that guides the ribbon on top of the box.

It’s fun making unique boxes for different gifts – take a few measurements and draw out some plans – sometimes it takes a few trials when I’m making a trickier style.

Who else makes their own gift boxes and bags?
