BACK FROM A SHORT BREAK

I have enjoyed the last few days, away from posts, working on other projects.

So, today, it’s back to sharing some Stampin’ Time projects.

I found a bag of mini Oreo biscuits – original and chocolate – and thought they would be great in a little gift bag of love.

Who doesn’t love a gift of chocolate biscuits (cookies)?

It’s lovely to know that the FROM MY HEART SUITE is still available in the January to June Mini Catalogue.

It’s not only Valentine’s Day that deserves the use of hearts and the colour of love – red!

I made this simple gift bag, that uses a belly band to close the opening, to hold two small packets of mini Oreo biscuits.

The LINED ALPHABET STAMP SET was perfect for the tag.

What would you pop into a gift bag like this?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this project. If you live in Australia, you can order any of these through me.

MOTHER’S DAY CARDS – SIMPLE & STYLISH

I made three Mother’s Day cards yesterday using the TIMELESS TULIPS stamp set.

Each card features the same colours but very different levels of ‘complexity’.

The first card is quick and simple – one image stamped in three different colours and a sentiment, all stamped directly onto a piece of Whisper White card.

This card is perfect for those of you who are new to stamping and perhaps only have a few supplies. This card would be even easier if you use the Note cards and Envelopes pack – no coloured card stock to cut.

NEXT …

Card #2 steps things up a notch. Using dimensionals for depth and adding some dies, ribbon and sequins gives this card more visual diversity.

Moving on from being a beginner in card making, you may have added more stamp sets and inks and tools to your crafting collection. You are also crafting more often and developing your skills and techniques.

NEXT …

Finally, a card that shares the same ‘theme’ of the earlier card but includes even more elements. A variety of dies, more layers and flicking ink onto the background are easy ways to bring some extra wow.

As you continue to craft more often and develop your range of skills and techniques, you can easily ‘see’ what else you can add to project. It may take you a couple of attempts to master the ink flicking technique but you never know when you might want to use it.

And, now you are crafting regularly and building your craft supplies so that you continue to challenge your creativity. Welcome to the world of an avid stamper.

Which type of stamper are you?

Can you remember the first time you stamped an image onto a card or other project?

If you have ever thought of sharing that experience with other people, you should think about being a demonstrator and coaching others. If you live in Australia, contact me to find out how to join my team and the benefits of this decision.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products used for all three cards.

COCONUT CHOCOLATES – IN GIFT BOXES

So, yesterday it was a coconut hair mask sachet and today it is coconut chocolates!

In particular, Whittaker’s Toasted Coconut Slab. Yum!

Whittakers Coconut slab 50g – My Sweeties

And that must mean some more TROPICAL OASIS DSP.

Can anyone settle at just one chocolate? Really?

I couldn’t decide – so, I made a matchbox gift box for just one – and a larger gift box for those who want two.

Such a sweet treat to give someone special.

What do you think?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.
