FATHER’S DAY CARD

Hello! Today’s post is a little later than planned but it’s here and I’m pleased you have popped by.

Yesterday was Father’s Day here in Australia. About an hour before our daughters arrived to join us for lunch, there was an 11th hour request for a card for their dad.

So here it is!

So this is what a last minute card can look like. I used Mossy Meadow and Night of Navy cardstock, as well as Basic White.

A quick card is not a complex card. I decided to add a piece of Paper Lattice to give the card something extra.

I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the goat, from the Way to Goat Stamp Set, before popping ti up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiments are from the Way to Goat and Best Year Stamp Sets. They were stamped and then trimmed. Just like the goat, they were popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Two different goat images were stamped onto the card insert and envelope.

Surprisingly, there are no embellishments on this card.

Did you make any Father’s Day cards this year?

UNtil next time, happy stamping.

JOY

Hello and happy Sunday. I’m so pleased that you have popped by.

It’s Father’s Day in Australia today – so happy Father’s Day to the men in your family.

Today I have a Christmas card to share with you.

For this project I have teamed the Merriest Moments Bundle with the Tidings of Christmas 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper. The colours are Basic White, Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Sahara Sand and Soft Succulent.

I also used the Seasonal Labels Dies, from the Christmas Season Bundle, to create the layers on the centre front of the card. A length of Evening Evergreen Chevron Weave Ribbon was folded under the Cherry Cobbler panel. I folded a narrow strip of DSP to create a paper ribbon and adhered it over the top die cut panel. The greeting, from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set, was stamped and trimmed.

The poinsettia shaped flowers and leaf were cut with the Merriest Frames Dies. I used the Snowy White and Red Velvet Sheets to cut these elements. The texture of these velvet sheets is lovely and soft.

I added die cut velvet flowers to the card insert and envelope before placing Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the card.

The next time I make this card I will dry emboss the Cherry Cobbler and Soft Succulent panels.

Until next time, happy stamping.

FACEBOOK LIVE CARD

Hello and welcome to my Saturday post. I’m pleased that you have been able to pop by.

Yesterday I shared a card using the birds image from the Classic Cloche Stamp Set. During my Facebook Live, two days ago, I used the same stamp sets and layout to create a Christmas card.

This is very quick post today to share that card with you – no backdrop behind the card for the photos and no product list – I know, very cheeky!

I chose to use Balmy Blue, Basic White, Real Red and Shaded Spruce for this version; as well as a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels. The ribbon is the Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon.

As you can see there is no backdrop today just my very messy desk.

I hope you like this version of the card.

Until next time, happy stamping.
