DRAGONFLY #2

In my post yesterday I gave lots of information about what I will be sharing this week – lots of projects using the DANDY GARDEN PROJECT COLLECTION.

This is a collection available, for now, to all the Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators who are registered for OnStage@Home. When my collection was delivered, I made so many projects in the first 24 hours.

There are lots more information back on my Monday 25th post.

This the project I want to share today.

I also used a die from the PEONY DIES SET to create the scalloped Misty Moonlight edge. The Mossy Meadow strip, under the Bumblebee DSP piece, has been embossed using the TASTEFUL TEXTILE EMBOSSING FOLDER.

The range of images, across the DANDY GARDEN 6″x 6″ DSP bundle, is simply stunning.

The stamp with the cluster of dragonflies is perfect for the card insert and envelope.

Here’s a peek at the products.

The combination of BASIC BLACK, BUMBLEBEE and MOSSY MEADOW is very elegant. What do you think?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

A WEEK OF DRAGONFLIES

I didn’t post over the weekend because I was making lots of card and projects for an upcoming market stall. On Sunday afternoon, I started using an amazing product collection.

From November 5-7, thousands of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators around the world will be going online for this year’s On Stage event.

Last year, I was so very fortunate to attend the Live 3 day event in Dortmund, Germany. This year, we won’t be meeting in person. We will have OnStage@Home.

In the lead up to the event, those of us who have registered to join in we are able to order the DANDY GARDEN PROJECT COLLECTION to use for some of the event projects.

When my order arrived, I knew that I couldn’t wait to start creating with it.

Let me show you the products first – DRAGONFLY PUNCH, MOSSY MEADOW BRAIDED LINEN THREAD, LADYBUG TRINKETS and DRAGONFLY GARDEN STAMP SET. You will be able see the DANDY GARDEN 6″x 6″ DSP used on my project posts over the next week.

The colours used in the DSP are: Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White. The designs on these papers is gorgeous – dandelions, bumblebees and dragonflies with stunning leaves and geometrics. AND, the variety of combinations is almost endless.

So, over the next week I will share the projects I have made.

PROJECT #1

This is actually the last project that I made today. It was inspired by Emma Goddard (Coastal Crafter) and her Facebook Live from this morning (her Sunday evening).

And, it is also my first SLIMELINE CARD – very late to the trend.

I almost managed to use all the paper designs and I am really pleased with the end result! What do you think? Let me know.

Isn’t this product collection amazing? I’m hoping that it will be included in the JANUARY THROUGH JUNE MINI CATALOGUE so that you can add it to your collection.

I won’t add product details today – I just want to share these projects for the next week to inspire you.

If you have been watching my Facebook Live each Wednesday (9am – AEST), you will know that during the month of October there are 15 DSP packs you can order with a 15% discount. Make sure you contact, if you live in Australia, to order any of them.

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

A CURVY CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATE BOX

The last project I made, during my Facebook Live on Wednesday, was a gift box.

I found a Santa KitKat in my grocery store last week and I knew that I wanted to make a gift box to present it.

My favourite stamp from this bundle is the curvy ‘star banner’ from the CURVY CHRISTMAS STAMP SET.

155364 CURVY CHRISTMAS PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET

For this project, I used my STAMPARTUS and the HINGE STEP TECHNIQUE to stamp the image onto the gift box cardstock. POPPY PARADE is such a great colour for Christmas projects.

The gift box dimensions are – 4.5″ x 1.75″ x .75″ – a long and thin gift box.

Lift the lid and another stamped image is revealed.

The gift tag was stamped and then punched using the ESSENTIAL TAG PUNCH. I also used the LABEL ME FANCY PUNCH to punch out the small circle to thread the ribbon through.

The Poppy Parade gold edged ribbon is from the ALL THE TRIMMINGS RIBBON COMBO PACK.

I also added some GILDED GEMS to the tag before popping it up with some dimensionals onto the front of the box.

I will be making some more gift boxes, like this, as I prepare for a new craft market that is starting on the first weekend of November. They would be a great, small gift for a teacher or a Secret Santa gift.

Who would you like to be a Secret Santa for?

Thanks for popping by … happy stamping.

These are the products I used to make this gift box. If you live in Australia, you can order any of them through me.

The QUITE CURVY VARIETY BUNDLE product number will be 158396 and the bundle is $123.25 AUD/$148.50 NZD.

Each of these products will either be early release January – June Mini Catalogue and others will only be available during the promotion period. I will share details just before November 3rd, when you can place an order.
